    I need a new ob doctor

    I have been having the worst headaches in my life. I went to the er for them, they did a cat scan and didn't find anything wrong so gave me a shot of demerol and sent me home. I have went to my ob doc. twice and called twice. The medication she prescribes me isn't working. I made that very clear to her. She then told me to just take phenegran for my headaches. I just called them back and said I cut one pill up into 4 pieces to take only a small dose and it still makes me sleepy so the phenegran isn't an option for me b/c I have my other children to take care of. Well there is nothing else they can give me, she says. I said I know there is something else but they don't want to prescribe narcotics during pregnancy. I was prescribed alot of different narcotics with my last pregnancy so I know they could me something else. It's not me just wanting narcotics, I will try anything that is safe for me to take but they won't give me anything else. I have had it with her and I want a new doctor!

     

     

    I'd love to help, but uh...wait, my phone is ringing... :blush:

    Y'all make me laugh..

     

    Simply put...

     

    Bullets are bad :angry2:

    Mayberries are good :wub:

     

    Bullets are given when it has been determined by Pubby or a Deputy that you've violated a P.Com rule or gone too far in a direction that becomes obviously offensive (generally accepted as such) or maybe it's something you've been previously warned and continue to commit that act... etc...

     

    Mayberries are given for acts of kindness; words of sincere praise; deeds that are considered to be of an honest and thoughtful nature without prompting... again, at the discretion of Pubby and the Deputies....

     

    Limitations

    There are limits to how many bullets you can have and penalities for having so many. Likewise, there are no limits to how many mayberries you can have and as Pubby stated above, there are beneifits to having them as well.

     

    One word of advice: To those with a positive number (i.e a bullet), if it's been quite a while or you feel like it should be reversed, you can always ask Pubby or a Deputy to review the reason and at best...it may be reversed...at worse....do something nice and maybe get a mayberry for doing it!

     

    One word of caution: To those who may have several Mayberries, it doesn not give you the ability/right/authority to abuse them by using profanity or commiting a violation. More than one bullet may be given and specific violations may be cause for the deputies or Pubby to flip all the cards...... (I wanted to add, for those who do have a lot of Mayberries...there's a reason you have them :wub: ...thank you for keeping P.com clean...GREAT JOB!!! and thanks for helping make Paulding a great place to live, work and play)

     

    Hopefully that clears a few things up. Remember, this IS NOT a publicly owned site and Pubby makes the rules in accordance to whatever laws exist for websites and his own fair and equitable decisions.

     

    This site has been around for a while, serves the community and is a great source of information and of course, opinions. Keep it clean and keep it fun and we'll all live in Mayberry RFD for a long time (just gotta find where I hid Barney's other bullets before he does :o )

    Every other board that I have either been a member of or visited, the User name had "Moderator" under it, and you knew who they were.

     

    Here, they all are (supposed to be) a secret, :rolleyes: and no one is supposed to know who the "Police" are.

     

    Do you find this on other sites you visit?
