I thought I did. The only way I will realize a decrease in value is if I sell my house. I'm not planning on selling my house so the drop in value is just on paper. It doesn't effect me.

I SAW Nathan Deal lie about the re-reimbursement. I never read where Barnes said anything. I really don't see the point other than a lie is a lie and Nathan Deal is a liar. I heard Roy say he had previous engagements. Never heard him say he wasn't invited. I'm voting for Roy simply because he is a better man than Nathan Deal. Believe me. The Barnes' were driving pickups long before the guy in Massachusetts did.

One thing is for sure. The last BOC gave us a tax increase and called it a decrease. I know I couldn't afford very many more of their decreases. And I'm as happy as a pig in mud that Mr. Austin, Mr. Graham ad now Mr. Pownall are on the BOC. If they can stay together for the next six or eight years I think we will see some major improvements in Paulding County. Some improvements that will benefit us all and not just Jerry and his buddies. I just don't have a spiffy come back for the sunshine butt blowing thingy.

Best tax increase I ever had. Saved me $2,500.00. The only way you lose money on the value of your house is if you sell it for what it is said to be worth. The value of my house had almost tripled from when it was built but that was all on paper too. The Austin BOC has no choice but to pay the bills for the debt that Shearin and company ran up. Let me ask you this, did you really expect those over-inflated home values to continue to climb forever. How many times have you walked through new homes and thought "there is no way in heck this house is worth this much money?"

NJ, you are absolutely entitled to vote for anyone you please. I have been a card carrying republican for 30 years. My family is made up of nothing but republicans and I have convinced 80% of them that Will Avery is the best person to represent our district. As for governor, I once thought Roy Barnes would never get my vote (I didn't vote for him in either of the his first two campaigns). If Handel would have won I would be voting for her (even with her Sonny baggage). I can not and will not bring myself to vote for a low life like Nathan Deal. Not all the dirt is out on Deal yet.

NJ, Deal stated that his campaign was going to reimburse the state. THAT WAS A LIE! Not only had his campaign not been aware of the reimbursement, there is no way for the state to take a reimbursement. The statement was nothing more than a liar thinking he was going to look bad for spending taxpayers money. He does not know how to be a man and just say "it was offered to me and I thought it was a good idea." The whole thing would have blown over. Deal will lie when the truth fits better. What a guy!

I haven't said anything in this thread that was remotely related to Avery. My comments concerned our "Godly, Salt of the Earth" Republicans that suddenly re-discover the female genitalia when they are elected. And you are correct, I didn't remember Clinton mentioning family values. I despise both of the Clintons so I probably didn't listen to his speech. But I do remember Richardson flim-flamming these people in Paulding. All the old ladies thought he was such a nice boy and the whole time he was drilling the AGL hooker.

Nope. The reporter from WSB researched any plans for the Deal campaign to reimburse the state. Not only is there no plan, there is no system set up for the state to be able to take "reimbursement" for this service. Deal is just a liar.
