Levon Helm, singer/drummer for The Band is said to be near death. My link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lXOuZgm_eY

I have two sets of friends that live on Duncan. Is that close?

Life was better before the pc, internet and cell phones.
-
That's my goal in life. No computer, no phone and to not be a functioning member of society.

Yeah, that's a little overkill. I left Hiram at 7:30 Tuesday, stopped and filled up at the Brownsville Kroger, stopped once more for a boys room break and was sitting at the job on Sugarloaf Parkway in Lawrenceville at 9:00. If you like being early, I would give it an hour. Traffic starts backing up right about the hospital unless there is a freak, interstate closing accident on 75.

My buddy is 75 y/o and has never had a computer. But he has learned to call me and get me to check things out on the internet for him. He also has a cell phone but not a smart phone. We were fishing one morning when a bad storm was coming in. I checked the radar on my Droid and we sat in the truck until it was over. He told me he would get him one of those things if he could figure out how to use it.

6-year-old handcuffed after tantrum in kindergarten class

The parents aren't intelligent enough to be doing this. Seems there is a "community activist" that is trying to turn it into more than it is. I'm sure Al and Jesse are warming up their race engines as we speak. After all, Trayvon has been milked for all they can get. -
I do like Leon. Another one of my favorites: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=X0grEMQEXiw

He's a little too far out there for me as well. Problem is, I think he might suck less than at least one of the other choices. I don't know much about Rogers other than he ran for sheriff once. I don't see him having much of a chance against an incumbent and the kind of money Carruth has backing him. Be nice to have someone that was actually interested in putting some money in OUR pockets.

I did. I was in the fifth grade and saw a kid throw a desk at the teacher. -
Exactly.

So you think that the child being black effects how everyone is responding? As for my comment, if the parents were white and their articulation was as poor as these two, I would also consider them ignorant. -

I actually agree with you on this one. -

I don't think the kid is a brat. More like she got a double dose of ignorance. -
The last time I was at Cobb ER it looked like a clinic in Mexico City.

I will say that since Austin took office I haven't felt like some SOB was sneaking up behind me, knifing me for my wallet, like I did with his predecessor. So far I haven't seen the new rich boy move into power and start telling the BOC what to do, but I don't feel the need to watch them like I did the last bunch. The one that concerns me is the senate race. Sure would like to see a good candidate get in that race.

Donnie and his mom are good friends. You know he is in Rockmart now at Sidekicks.

One of my favorite Leon videos.

As long as we stay on the same team buddy. That was more fun than trying to tell you your boy was a slimey biatch.

Some of my wife's family took her aunt (a very religious and proper lady) to see David Allen Coe at the Great Southeast Music Hall. I would love to have a video of her about the time the big biker dude accidentally spilled his bucket of beer on her. I love Humble Pie. I don't need no doctor.

Hey now! I saw the Beach Boys at the old Atlanta Municipal Auditorium in 1974ish.

We call that Pride and Doy. One of my favorites too.

I hear what your screaming. Like we have learned in the past, politics make for some strange bedfellows. The article I saw had a photo of Ithy. But I am all about Feelip and who is going to do the most to help Feelip is who will be getting my support.

I looks like Tony Crow is running for commissioner again. But I am seeing his signs in Post 3. Maybe I am mistaken, but I thought he ran in a different District last time. Anyone know? Oh never mind. I had no idea he was running for commission chairman.
