Child Poverty Up In 38 States, During The Previous Census Decade
AcworthDad replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
They aren't really poor but they are learning why they should vote for Democrat party members in order to mooch free stuff. Makes me retch. It is difficult impossible to have a reasonable conversation with TP. I agree. You are wasting your time. -

Agore confirms that he is a raving lunatic every time he opens his big mouth. -
Let me help WR out - the name of the (useless) Commander-in-Chief (since January 2009) is Obama. Slowly now - O-B-A-M-A. Blame him and his lousy foreign policy; he is incompetent, but that may be partially because he has no practical real world experience.

How about we fire them both and use the money we save to pay for "infrastructure"? -
Georgians are getting bargain prices under the ACA

As TP would tell you, "Obviously you are wealthy and you should be paying for those less fortunate." -

I thought that parents were responsible for raising and supporting their children. -
It's a shame it won't fit on a bumper sticker.

I sure as heck hope not. Obama does not know how to negotiate and compromise. All we can do is obstruct his "vision" of a fundamentally changed America. I can't wait for Obama to be out of office and our White House. -

Kasey is a legend and will always be remembered. His daughter has the same name as mine.

You most certainly don't play nice with terrorists; nor do you release five of them, at least one of whom has ties to 9/11. "Can't we all just get along?" "No, hell no!"

I was suckered too.

Let's get rid of the most inept leader ever - Obama.

More likely that the heads of many liberals on pcom are so full of liberal propaganda that they cannot accept anything that disputes their "facts".

We bought some yard flags today and as soon as the lawn is mowed, out they go.

..or a full day long enema.

You should know better than to question a liberal. Only they know the truth. Only they tell the truth. Only they have superior intelligence. Only they are born to lead. Barfing.

If Pubby did not mean to demean the military (which was quite obviously his purpose), he needs to think through what he posts and how it will be interpreted. Trying to wiggle out by changing what he says he meant won't work.

That's our commander-in-chief. Please give the respect he deserves....which is none.

So tell us . . . why did you seek political power?

Cap'n, I see honest and frank feedback in this thread - much more so than negativity. Excuse me, Cap'n, Sir. -
California Judge strikes down tenure for teachers
AcworthDad replied to cranemec's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I'm not sure how well this would work. The teacher would be able to play to the video so you really would not get a valid measure of performance. And, as Mrs H says above, what about the students? I do agree that any teacher who is not performing should be relieved of his/her duties. What I don't know is exactly how that is determined. I think it should include observation over a period of time by a department head, student results and parent/student feedback. The parents and the students are the "customers" and should have a say in any teacher's performance evaluation.
