This is a great opportunity for someone to defray the costs of a wedding or to give the tuxedos for the wedding as a present!
Here is how it would work: First, you'd have to have something valuable to trade. If you have a business, then your valuable item could be business related.
If you don't have a business, that's okay - You'd just need to have something that has value to me. Let's say that there are 10 people in the wedding party.
At $119.99 each, you would have to trade something worth at least $1199.90 (for instance)
I would provide head-to-toe (except for socks and undies) instock tuxedo rentals for a wedding or other special event and you'd trade an equal value of what you have.
Here are some ideas:
Fruits/vegetables
Guy Stuff (hunting, home defense, fishing)
Rights of useage (land/lakes, boats, vacation rentals, etc)
Services (housekeeping, etc)
Those are just some ideas - It just seems like in this economic slowdown we need to develop strategies to thrive. This seems to me to be a great out-of-the-box idea!
I mentioned the ability to "defray the cost of the wedding". Let's say that you're the groom and there are 9 other guys in your wedding. You can make the agreement with the nine other guys to get their tuxes for them for $90 (for instance) , barter with me for what you have, and use the $810 to put towards the reception site, for instance. Everybody wins!

Last week, I contacted Elwood from Paulding.com (A Biz Member) about printing me up some advertising handouts for the 7/31 Georgia Bridal Show.
I emailed Elwood (the company name is "VanaDorr") my idea about what the advertising card should look like. I got my 4 X 6 advertising cards today. They could not have been closer to
my prototype that I described to Elwood. They were PERFECT.
I don't want to say too much, but the pricing was awesome!! Needless to say - I've found the guy that I want to handle my business cards and advertising printing needs.
Everybody needs business cards! Elwood can put one of those scanning thingees on your business card so that people can find your website easily!
He put a map to the store on the back of my card, too!
You'll have to contact Elwood to get a quote for your printing needs, because if I told you how inexpensive they are, you wouldn't believe me!!
