  1. I tried it for one month..UHHH that was some Nasty food..Only way I could see losing weight on this is that you spent $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ on it so you don't want to lose your money..So you eat it. The tuna casserole looked and smelled like CAT food...And powdered eggs anyone

That is what I am worried about. Do they sell just a few meals so I can try it first?

  2. I would suggest not going on a diet, but instead making a life style change. You can go on any diet and lose weight, but once you stop dieting there is nothing holding you back from gaining the weight again. Instead of starving yourself and hoping for fast results, make a decision to change for life. Eat only three meals a day and make them proportioned, that means usually no bigger than your fist. At first I would recommend eating one snack in between your meals to help tie you over, but slowly remove those snacks until you can make it between meals. Don't eat fast food, no more high in fat, oils, grease, sugar foods. Remove coffee, sweet tea, and carbonated beverages from your daily foods. Eating healthier, making healthier decisions will give you results, however not as fast as a diet. Making this change will give you results, but you also have to exercise intitially. Once you lose your desired weight you can slow down on your exercise and remain eating healthy. Think about it, why keep dieting, once you loose your weight you would never go back to that weight if you kept eating healthier, making that life style change. GOOD LUCK!! Oh, try reading a book by Dr. Oz "Your on a Diet"

Thanks for the advice. I think I will try what you said. I think I already have that book. I should start reading it, it will proable help me.

  3. A friend of mine tried that several years ago. She liked the food and lost weight. She had ALWAYS been able to lose weight when she stuck with a diet, though. It's when she isn't on a diet that she has put the pounds on.

Now, she is to the point where she has to do something more than just diet if she is going to get the weight off to stay. She has a metabolic cause for her obesity but until she is ready to undergo the required treatment, she will remain morbidly obese. We no longer discuss her obesity, diets, weight loss or the reasons behind her weight. Unfortunately, we no longer discuss much of anything.

I am afarid I wont stick with it. I never can wait to see the results, so I stop.

I had some that a pcommer gave me, and I liked it, when you are hungry it taste pretty good.

I can not afford it or I would probaly be on it all the time.

When you are hungry it taste good? I think I might a little scared of that

A co worker of mine and her daughter are on it. They are noticing results. As far as how the food taste she says it's pretty good.

How long after they started did they notice a change?

I am afraid I wont stick with it. I never can wait to see the results, so I stop.

  4. I am looking into the NutriSystem weight loss program. Have you or anybody you know tried this? I was curious about results and also what the food taste like. I think I want to buy it and start, but I don’t want to spend a lot of money for something I am not certain it will work for me. I guess I won’t know if it works for me until I try it.

One thing that will help me lose weight is staying away from those Devils cookies.

    No advice from anyone?

Thats great, we too have donated some. I know the Troops will enjoy them

I know the girls will be out in full force this weekend. Our SU picked up cookie last Saturday in the rain. Look at the Krogers, Walmarts, Banks, Scarlets, Kmart. If you look I'm sure you will see them everywhere.

I am sure they will be on every corner this weekend. Good luck to all.

  9. No one came by our house this year selling GS cookies. Looks like we're going to miss our Do-si-Dos fix this year.

What Area do you live in? I would be more than happy to sell you some. The less I have at home the better off I will be....lol

  10. Yes they are EVIL !!! Woke last night and stumled to the kitchen for a drink of water...those darn cookies were just sitting there.... I ate 5 thin mints in the middle of the night OMG !!!!! they were so good, 4 more boxes to go !!!!

These girl scout cookies should be illegal. I hope I dont get stuck with a bunch of cookies they couldnt sell, cause that would be a really bad thing for my figure :p

  11. We sell in the fall so I don't really have anything for you right now. Just sharing how it is that I feel your pain. ;)

(Though you can order the popcorn year round and the local scouts do still get a portion of the sales. www.orderpopcorn.com use order key TEDXDJ1 )

  12. Thin Mints are the devil's cookie ... I'm convinced of it. And they have some type of evil magic powers. I don't ever remember eating them as quickly as they seem to disappear. <_<

You are absolutely correct, they are the devils cookies

  13. Ok, both my daughters are selling Girl Scout cookies for their first time this year. :D I knew it would be a challenge; however I didn’t realize it would make me pull out my hair. :o Wow, I am not convinced I can do this every year. How do you Girl Scout moms do this year after year? I know it is for the kids, but my kitchen has cookies everywhere, and I have eaten so many boxes already. I have probable gained a good 10 pounds from those Damn Mint cookies

  14. I got hired by them and then they had a hiring freeze. I applied for another WAH company and then West sent an email saying they were adding more people - since I already had the other job - I passed.

BUT...I have a good friend that works for them --- she has told me about all the crazy stuff they do (one supervisor says "do it this way" and another says "who told you to do that - that's wrong...") --- BUT you can work thirty minute shifts with them and you can pick up hours when you need to --- so she says it is worth all the hassles even if they are a bit crazy.

Thats good to know. I dont want alot of hours. I just like that I can work a few hours here and a few more there.
