  1. thanks, she was doing better for a little while but has had a setback and for some reason hasnt been able to kick it. She is on a new med now and we are hoping this will help. She actually felt pretty good today for the first time in weeks and was able to keep down what little bit of lunch she ate

:o .... I had thought she was doing better!

    ((((THOUGHTS)))) coming at you both.

  2. Yes we do :) She just hasnt been able to really keep anything down yet :( I will tell her you said hey, or better yet, maybe I can get her to come in here and say hello herself :)

We still need to do lunch... **taps foot**

    :p

I hope everything is going great! And tell Kel I said 'Hey' ;)

  3. You are so right. I have seen them give low marks for things like the drain in the floor having a little trash in it. ummm hello? Its where the trash goes as the floor is being cleaned, not where the customers eat. I have also seen them give low marks for pans being soaked in a sink to be scrubbed?? I dunno, I understand the other side of this too and wish the reasons were posted as well.

I've worked in restaurants the last 4 years and have taken a manager certification class. The inspectors will count off for the dumbest things. when I worked at Jim N Nicks we got a point taken off for the dumpster out back in the parking lot being open. I mean how is that effecting the food the lid being open? The handwashing sink has to be clean. No cups out of place. There are a lot of rules. Temps have to be just right. Everything clean. And sometimes they come in the middle of a shift and when it's kind of busy things get a little messy. The staff may not have enought time to clean up after everything they do until it slows down.

  4. we had that for lunch today and was YUMMY! Thanks again :D

I'm a step ahead, I fixed some soup and cornbread for Kelwill the other day and I fixed me a small pan and saved me some soup to eat with it!! She and I both had soup and cornbread galore!! I can go fix me a small bowl...brb!!

  5. lol hardhead is doing good, and you better let us know if you need anything at all

Thanks kewlisa, you know I would call all my PCom Buddies if I needed anything. It will pass, but thanks!

    How is hardhead doing?

  6. Thanks so much y'all  She drove last night and today, she did great! She did have to pull over because she got sick to her stomach. That happened yesterday too. I felt so bad for her, we thought that stuff was over with :( But other than that, she is doing alot better.

  7. That sounds great :) and trust me, we understand about the work thing getting in the way of doing things we want! Thanks and look forward to doing lunch soon. :D

You guys are great, I am so glad she is feeling better, and recovering nicely. I wished I could have come and seen Kel while she was in the hospital, but I had to work. :(

We need to get togeather again pretty soon, maybe for lunch or something in a week or two?

  8. We are back to our normal routine tomorrow, I am back to work tomorrow :( We wanted to thank everyone again for being so good to us through all this, we never could have made it through without y'all and our family. This has been tough, but everything has turned out great! There is NO way to name everyone one by one, but please know we are very thankful for everything, no matter how small you may feel it was. It was a HUGE blessing for us  We also have enjoyed everyones company and the meals that have been delivered  We have alot of angels here on pcom! Kel is still healing and progressing very well. She drove this evening and didn't have any problems at all. She is one tough gal! Again, thanks from the bottom of our hearts for everything! Please let us know if we can ever be of any help to any of you  We love to pay it forward, and will :)
