Yes, all the others were red. He was the only black and tan out of the litter

 

My guess would be each of the parents had black & tan genes in their bloodlines and since it it the dominant trait, that is why the puppy/puppies were black tan. Did they have any reds or other colors???

They are too cute! Good luck on finding good homes for them. The parents of our black and tan dachshund were both red amazing how that happens.

Well, it has to come out. My Dr can't see me until NEXT Wed. Hopefully he can call in some drugs because I have already gone through this and when it gets bad- it makes you want to kill yourself. The pain is severe so I am just hoping for the best.

 

I'll get Solo to update the dinner list so i can make it up to ya'll. I feel so bad I can't come tonight but I need to take it easy for a few days to make sure it doesn't rupture... Give Kel and hug from me and ask her to give you one from me as well. I will see you soon, even if I have to just bring Mickey D's...

Thanks everyone. She is talking and walking even better today than she was yesterday! She even kept her breakfast down this morning!

Yup, the lucky one AKA Kelly, is feeling better. How do I know this? I went to visit this evening and she said "Truck you Maggie" so I know she is getting better. She'll be back to being meaner than a snake in no time!

First we want to thank everyone for everything y'all have done to make this so much easier on us to handle. We are so blessed to have such good friends, family and amazing surgeon

 

Kel is getting a little more strength every day. She is up walking about every now and then. She is even doing the stairs. She is still having some dizzy spells but the Dr. said that would take awhile to go away. She also is still having problems keeping alot of solid foods down, but that doesn't keep her from trying lol. She also still has the big bump on her tongue, which we assume is from biting it or something while she was under. She is still sleeping alot but that is good for her at this time. Her incision is still looking good. She is now fussing because she doesn't like the new toothpaste, so i think she is in pretty good spirits today lol. I need to go find some good toothpaste for her now lol. Thanks again for everything!

He did tell us the name of it, but it was like wayyyyyyy long and a funny name, I cant remember it. I am gonna have him write it down when we see him again. Thanks for the prayers

 

I didn't even know. Somehow I have missed all the threads. I am extremely happy to hear she came through surgery and is doing well and I don't even know kelwil. Does anyone know what type of tumor she had?
