I was advised by a doctor to try yoga and pilates for my scioliosis and when I stick to the plan, yoga a.m. and p.m. stretches do help dramatically. Target has a dvd of the morning and evening stretches and they do help. I haven't yet tried pilates. Walking and staying active helped to keep my back strong, also. The last couple of years I've had a job in which I sit a lot and being sedentary contributes to pain.
Good luck and I hope you make the right decisions.
Don't let anyone tell you that the changes stop after the growth years. I'm in the mid fifties and I'm still twisting and changing and in terrible pain most of the time. I wish I had gone through the surgery back when I was younger. Now, that I'm probably too old for it, I really regret not getting it. It is my understanding that they can do much more for it now than they could back in the years I was considering it.
I think we should challenge surepip, Pubby, Whitey, Feelip, Who's the RR guy Republican Something , all to run. They definitely should. . . Now that would be fun.
Surepip, Surepip, Surepip. I just had to come on and tease you about this topic. Back when you were the Campaign Manager for Judge Valbuena you guys littered the county with the signs. And I'm sure you guys put them as close as you could to the old courthouse, so lay off poor Beverly and Drew. They are just trying to get their names out there. (Don't you just love these emoticons in this website?)
