A local book store is a wonderful thing! I have a suggestion...with all the middle and high schools requiring summer reading, maybe you could have a section dedicated to the current summer reading lists (posted on PCSD website). Each year students could trade in last year's reads for the next ones. Then the upcoming class' students could purchase these books used. This will keep all of us from buying new books every year. I can even begin to add up what I've spent on summer reading books for my three teenagers! Good luck with your opening! We'll be in there soon!
