  1. October 29th was truly a sad day in Paulding County having lost such an honorable man. RIP Corporal Davis. Thanks for your contributions to Paulding County and my heart felt prayers go out to your family members, many friends and the entire Paulding County Sheriff's Department.
  2. Condolences to Mr. Sanders' family - he was a very good person.
  3. Thanks Joey. I do apppreciate your taking the time to address this but I am still curious to hear your answers to the remainder of D-Dawg's questions (see thread on Paulding County Tax Increases). These questions included the tax increase issue, board meetings attended and the airport issue. I do appreciate your putting forth the time and effort to run for public office. We need more people that are willing to sacrifice the time and energy it takes to run for and serve in public office. P. S. I was out of town last weekend during your meet and greets but I am pretty sure that sur
  4. I don't have any idea if there will be a debate and the only thing I have heard is that the Ragsdale campaign is putting together a informational flyer for the voters in his district.
  5. I have heard that Mr. Ragsdale's district will be getting a flyer in the mail in the next few days that will answer a lot of questions.
  6. Good question surepip but how many times did you all rehearse this question on Saturday night? I am just kidding, by the way.
  7. Is this promise in writing? If not, I imagine it was just another one of those "he said, she said" heresay sort of situations - those can be very inaccurate you know.
  8. And there is absolutely nothing illegal, immoral or unethical about any of the contributions mentioned above.
  9. I have not a clue who you are talking about as the builders and developers I know don't live in $10 million dollar homes.
  10. Yes it does rip at my heart strings anytime ANY human being suffers.
  11. So now you are blaming them - I wondered how long that would take. And on another note, there are many, many people from Paulding that work for the State of Georgia so I guess according to what you are implying, that gives them the upper hand on running for public office? And yes, I will also continue to enjoy my privilege of "free speech" here on p.com also (as long as Pubby lets me).
  12. Yes, some would know that better than others. Surepip, no, I don't agree with you and I truly believe you are going to complain regardless of who is in office - you have proven that over and over and over again so there is probably nothing that myself or anyone else can do to help you there. On another note, do you honestly think the housing industry problem is something unique to "just Paulding County"? You know better than that - these same issues are being experienced nationwide. You are just playing on this to further attempt to drive our Paulding County builders and developers
  13. Yes I have several flaws and one of them is not being able to tolerate classless and ignorant people really well.
  14. Did I get "under your skin" a little bit Mr. October? Or do you place yourself in the same category as some others and get your "thrills" from watching other human beings suffer?
  15. You might want to go back and do a search on some of surepip's prior posts that are relevant to this issue.
  16. That is just about as "classless" of a statement that I have ever read on paulding.com. YOU are laughing over the misfortunes of the builders (who by the way just made a living by fulfilling an obvious need). Do you realize how many people in the State of Georgia and across the nation are affected by the building industry and are suffering right now? Is that really what you want - for other human beings to suffer? I am very thankful right now to still have a job and am very thankful that I have other things to fall back on if that is not always the case but YOU making fun of and laugh
  17. Betty, I am so very sorry for your loss and I will certainly say a prayer for you and your family. Cousins do have a way of becoming special parts of your life and I know you are going to miss him. Prayers especially for that precious grandchild.
  18. I didn't know him personally but always heard good things about him and his work. Prayers for his family and friends.
  19. This is so very sad and shocking - this family has experienced so much tragedy lately. Prayers of comfort to Tyre, Rhonda and Toppy, Tyra, Tara and the rest of the family.
  20. I am so going to miss this wonderful man. He would always greet me with a huge hug and smile every time I saw him and he was truly an inspiration to all who knew him. It never failed that each and every year he and Shirley sent every member of our family a birthday card. Many prayers and much love to Shirley, Randy and Cynthia and families. RIP Laverne - you will be missed and thank you so much for the wonderful Chriistian example you set for so many people.
  21. That was an excellent post and you certainly have your priorities in order. This young man has evidently touched so many lives and I am praying that God will give his family and friends comfort and strength to get through this.
  22. We have known the Middleton family for many years and they are such a good family. Prayers of comfort and peace to Cindy and the rest of the family from the McMichen families.
  23. This is so sad. I have heard wonderful things about this young man and his family and it is very obvious that he "fought a good fight". Prayers of comfort to Tyler's friends and family - RIP Tyler.
  24. This is such a wonderful family - my thoughts and prayers are with you Tom, Dawn and Mrs. Cable.
