I hope that someone in the banking industry can point me to the proper banking code that might address this issue in GA. Let's say that I write you a check. You place the check on your desk and it gets lost - or whatever - bottom line is that you did not present it to my bank for payment. Much later (months or years) you find the check. Is there any time limit before the check needs to be reissued by me? A "common, personal" check, to my knowledge, does not have a "only valid for xx days" on it - at least mine does not. TIA
