Typically house fires don't get helicopter coverage, especially out this far. It must be something spectacular.

Social security benefits for surviving children can be pretty hefty. If they're also heirs to his estate and she has custody, that comes with a house at least for now.

Dang. I went to school with her too. I recognized her maiden name but almost couldn't recognize her by the mugshot.

This does give me some insight though. The Postman has abandoned number of replies as validation (since people stopped replying) and now uses the number of views to convince himself that he has a vast and appreciative audience.

Its like a train wreck. People can't help but look.

Since 9/11 we've increasingly looked to the government to protect us from real and perceived evils, but for every new protective measure there's a new loss of freedom. Eventually we're all behind the barbed wire under the watchful eye of armed guards. History has shown us time and again that's a bad place to be. I wish I knew the solution.
-
Im afraid the solution isn't barbed wire, armed guards, or locked doors. Then the weak point becomes playgrounds, bus loading areas, and the buses themselves. Or gun control. I don't know what the solution might be, but its not creating more of a police state than we already live in.
-
Its shocking to me that people don't have at least one weapon for each member of their household, plus spares, and lots of ammo for each. Not to mention that guns are possibly the safest financial investment there is. Even if we experienced complete economic collapse, gun values would only go up.

So you're saying grind up zombies and make multi dimensional pancakes out of them. Great idea. I'm so glad I'm finally understanding your posts. For a while there I was thinking I was too dumb to follow, but now I read you loud and clear. Thanks for sharing! -

Try the #1 result. Check out the history section since that's the relevant topic. Extra credit for reading the section that has statistics about attacks on humans. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pit_bull#section_1

I didn't say all lower class people had pits. I just observed that pits are a status symbol for lower classes. There are exceptions to everything. For some reason you took offense. I wasn't offended when you called me ignorant regarding my knowledge of the history of the breed. If you'll go Google 'pit bull history' you'll see why.
-
I arrived at my final conclusion about pits the day I picked up a girls lips and cheeks up off the floor and placed them in a plastic bag. I'm sure you're quite upper class lady. Really

I've witnessed plenty of cases of pit bulls turning on their owners and kids. For some reason pits are a lower class status symbol. People love to tell you how gentle and sweet they are, but they really want the bad a$$ image of owning a stone cold killer. Pits are catch dogs. They weren't bred to be pets. They weren't bred to be cuddly. They were bred to bite beasts much larger than themselves and hold on to the death. They were bred to have awesome jaw power and very little rationality beyond that. Thats why they're used in dog fights. If you have one and its a good pet good for you. If it r

A friend of mine is facing a custody issue, but she can't afford an attorney. Any recommendations for an attorney who might consider offering assistance pro bono? She's a great mom and is facing some issues that she doesn't understand. Thanks.

Your freedom on the line again, Now they want access to your txts

Its how you boil a frog. Little by little. In these times its healthy to be skeptical of any encroachment on personal freedom or privacy. Every new law is potentially another brick in the wall that may eventually surround you. -

I can see both sides of it, but I am watching little bits of freedom disappear and invasion of privacy grow by little bits daily. It eventually leads to total government control and I'm against any more of it.
