My mom, who works at a Wal-mart, said that they were told that their Black Friday sale will start at 10 pm on Thursday.

My family and I were just at the Academy in McDonough this past Sunday. Got some very good deals on fishing equipment. Saw more good deals on shoes and camping equipment. It's a very good store. I agree with Tired, though. Hope that its being in Hiram won't ruin it.

I heard the sirens too and usually I don't.

The fire was still going when I got there to pick up my grandkids. I got there as the buses were leaving. They ended up taking the car riders to the front of the school, and after much confusion, got all the parents lined up for pick-up. The fire got much worse before the fire department finally got there. Of course, I don't know how soon they were called once the fire started, so it may not have taken them that long. Looked like the fire started in the engine area. Didn't see anyone inside the car. That was enough excitement for one day! Feel bad for the owners of the car.
