1st Annual City of Dallas Summer Fest @ Sara Babb Park We are looking for vendors and business owners to participate in our 1st Annual City of Dallas Summerfest. This event will be held August 1st 2010 from 12-8pm at Sara Babb Park. We are hosting this event to help bring the community together and host a funfilled event for all ages. We will be offering 12'x12' spaces for $25.00 for vendors and we will give business owners an oppurtunity to reserve a 12'x6' space for $15 for advertisment if they wish. SINCE MIDDLE SCHOOL ATHELETICS WERE JUST TAKEN AWAY, SPLOST PROVIDES AN EXCELLENT OPPURTUNITY TO HAVE FACILITIES THAT WE DONT ALREADY HAVE TO ACOMADATE OUR CHILDREN FOR MORE RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES. IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT NATURE TRAILS, IT'S WAY MUCH MORE THAN THAT. BUT REGARDLESS IF EVERYONE VOTES NO YOU ARE STILL GOING TO CONTRIBUTE TO SOMEBODY'S SPLOST BECAUSE MOST OF OUR SURROUNDING COUNTIES HAVE IT. PLUS THIS IS NOT INCREASING ANYTHING IT IS JUST RENEWING IT. AND IT WOULD BE STUPID TO SUPPORT EVERYONES COMMUNITY EXCEPT OUR OWN!

I may be reading this wrong, but if you are referring to the Pharmacy charging 50.00,,,,,we actually don't have a say so in what we charge..The insurance companies already have a set price in what they pay us which doesn't always cover cost....we could bill them for 1000.00 when something only cost 10.00 and we would still only get paid what they agree to which is usually about 15.00.....Insurance companies rule the world...It is there way or no way, but until you actually work somewhere hands on then there is no way to explain it/ understand it....In alot of cases it is cheaper on the custome

I have been a pharmacy tech for 11 years so maybe I can clear this up for everybody........What most people don't realize is that there are 2 types of Medicare.....You have Medicare part A & B(which covers hospital and doctor and some rx's) and then you have Medicare Part D (which there are hundreds of plans out there....What CVS is probally referring to when they say they are not takin Medicare anymore is the Part A & B...Some cancer meds and all nebulizer meds and test strips have to be billed to Medicare B....All other rx's get billed to whichever Medicare D program the customer sig

My 3 year old is getting a Vtech video game, his first roller skates, and some tee-ball stuff. I am sure I will throw a few other things in but that is it for the most part. He just got his first real 4-wheeler for is birthday which was Halloween.And they get so much from the rest of my family. I always go way overboard and I am not doing that this year. (Hopefully)!!! My 9mth old daughter was diagnosed with the flu yesterday and her symptoms are fever, running nose, cough , and congestion. But from talking around I have heard people say that the flu that is going around right now is not as bad as the regular flu season flu which don't start till after christmas.
