They're establishing a perimeter around the abandoned house now.

I've been listening for awhile. It's fascinating.
Officers were apparently trying to pick up a wanted suspect on felony charges. The man jumped out a window and ran.
They've been chasing him, and now have him cornered in an abandoned house.

We ate lunch there today! As usual, it was delicious! Thanks for giving us a yummy, affordable option for lunch!

The book looks great - congratulations on such a wonderful accomplishment!

This was a couple of hours ago. Have you talked to her recently? If not, PM me, and let me know the kind of car she has.

I don't know. They never said his condition, and I never heard a call for the coroner - just an investigator. (I am at work and could have missed it.) I just know that one deputy responded to the accident @ Scoggins and Hwy 61, then left there when GSP arrived to go to Bob Hunton.
PS - While typing, the deputy went 10-8 from the ER.
-
anybody hear anything else? This is Ash's next door neighbor. He had multiple health problems. She said all the officials are there.
One of the deputies that responded is at the ER and has been for awhile. Hopefully, that's a positive!

I just turned it on, too. I heard one of the supervisors advise to wait for back-up, and they have an investigator en route. I wondered what was up to warrant that.

I wondered when I saw your post. I heard the call yesterday. Then, she was threatening to use a gun. I hope she gets help, too. She is obviously crying out!

favorite line from "COPS"
why did you run from the po-lice?
I was scared!
My favorite line (after foot pursuit):
Perp: Don't hurt me! I got a bad leg! I got a cane!
Cop: You got a CO-caine

I did notice today, though, that you now have to register and PAY to listen to archives.

The topic that raises this question is this topic ... which was one of those in which the line protecting CM's and the protection of the community involves a transaction involving a home.
It was raised in the topic but I would prefer it be raised outside of the CM's topic.

While my confusion on this matter knows no bounds, it's all too apparent that my CM from my Subby account knows few bounds either.I'll have what they're having!

Our condolences are extended to the Nichols family. He was a wonderful man, full of fun and life. He had a tremendous musical talent, and touched many lives through his gift. He was also one of our oldest son's favorite substitute teachers! We will miss you, Gates!
-
Congrats! I'm so happy for you! You deserve the BEST!!!

I came through there about 30 minutes ago. There were 4 or 5 Hiram PD cars and a couple of deputies out there at a house. A couple of the Hiram officers were wearing polos and khaki pants with badges. This was at the intersection of Swan Dr & Cagle Way.

This is such a tragedy for this dear, sweet family. My sympathies go out to our dear friends.

We have a guest! Robert Crouse, with Crouse Consulting!
Watching him now!

Nope.
I am using Firefox/Mozilla as my browser though. Wonder if that is the glitch?
I use Firefox, and I have it up.
Across the top (below the initial banner - where it shows what thread you're reading) click on the words "Paulding.com". That should take you to where you can click on the Countywide News. Go from there!

I, too, add my condolences to the family. Although I've never had the privilege to meet Ashton or his family, I feel as though I know them from reading about his journey on Pcom. I can only imagine the pain the family is experiencing. My prayers for comfort and peace are yours.
