I am confused, too. Mine did go down - but a very small percentage. However, my home value has decreased drastically. How is it figured?

MOST people wouldn't! And to be honest (please don't be offended,) you're not very photogenic. You look much better in person (even without make-up!)

I have to say, there's no love, affection, attention, etc. that I will need to "alter" as my child changes ages. At 3, 10, 16, or 25, the love and affection I show him is ALWAYS appropriate.

Thank you for all of your comments about Will.
We have lost our son but know without a doubt that he is in a much better place.
We never had to teach Will about Jesus, he believed in Jesus before he believed in Santa.
Will taught me to believe.
I don't know your family, but my heart breaks for you in this loss. I have to tell you this is the sweetest thing I have ever read, and I'll continue to pray that God sends His peace to you.

I think we have some excellent candidates running for this post.
This is so true, and it is refreshing! After having to make choices between candidates who don't seem at all qualified (on every level of politics) I'm pleased to be able to find a candidate that I can support 100%, among others who also seem committed to do an excellent job!

I had a 9 year old visitor in my bed about 2am. I dozed off and on for the rest of the night. I kept stirring to make sure the power was on, so we wouldn't oversleep. The weather radio went off at 6:30am. Other than the rain and wind, it seems it wasn't as bad as predicted. We didn't have nearly as many branches down as last weekend.

I will be voting for Chad Plumley. He is a nice guy, but it goes further than that. I don't think Paulding realizes what a gem they have in him. He is one of the smartest men I know, and has an unbelievable concept of written law. Please research him further. I think he will represent Paulding very well.

We were on our way to the ballfield Saturday (did I mention that the South Paulding Spartans won the JV County Championship?!) and we saw you performing on the lawn. Little E got so excited! "There's Joe!" he said. I wish we had time to stop and say hi!

There was a call earlier on the scanner about a fire on Braswell Mountain. I'm assuming that's where it is coming from.

A neighbor contacted deputies with a sighting. They have a new trail and are in rapid pursuit!

Would someone please post the new scanner link? I finally got my speakers on my work computer fixed and want to turn it on, but the link changed since I listened to it here. I have the new one saved on my home computer.

Foot pursuit of burglary suspects.

Deputies have secured the suspects' vehicle. They are establishing a perimeter.

There are apparently 3 suspects. One is down with a dog bite. Rescue is on the way. Two are still being pursued.
Shouldn't be too hard to track.
They're so dumb! Not only can they be traced in the snow, but all the parents and kiddos are going to be home soon!

I guess today is a great day for a break-in!
Complainant called to say two men were trying to kick in the door of her neighbor's house. Deputies arrived and are now chasing the suspects through the woods.

I've been listening to the scanner, but have to mute it every so often because I'm at work.
There is a stand-off (I didn't even know where it was.) It sounds VERY serious from what the deputies are saying. I'm surprised they haven't cleared the channel for emergency only traffic.

It's good to know that wherever life takes me, and whatever mistakes I may make along the way, I can always return to Paulding County, adopt an anti-aboortzion, pro-gun, "Christian" platform, and the good people of Paulding will elect me to public office.
