We know each one bills you but the doctors office said one of the reasons he was considered a level four injury was because the doctor had to read the x-rays and try to see if there was a broke bone. I thought that what a radiologist does. Isn't that like being double charged when you get the bill from the radiologist he is going to charge for reading it to. My complaint is how can anyone justify charging someone $726.00 for spending maybe 15 minutes with them. Can you imagine the money she rolls in for pulling one ER shift.

I'm so sorry this is happening to you. I am a Grandmother raising a Grandson who is now sixteen. We've always let his other Grandmother and family see him even though his Dad signed away his rights to us. When he signed the papers I told him I would always tell him who his Dad is and you are always welcome to come see him anytime. I told him if you don't come and spend time with him he will know it was you and not us. I made that very clear to him. He married a girl and they have a 6 year old daughter and he has only seen his little sister maybe two times. The new wife doesn't want him to be a

My son went to the ER a few weeks ago because he dropped a tailgate from a truck straight down on his foot from about six feet high. We really thought the foot was broke. He has no insurance. Anyway the foot was not broke. The hospital was great about lowering the bill for him but he received the doctors bill and it is $726.00. The doctor came in his room and ask how it happened, ask if he wanted anything for pain, and he said no I took ibuprofen before I left home, she said I'm going to send you to x-ray and left the room. He went to x-ray and came back to the room. The doctor walkes in 30 mi

Paulding DA To Meet with Arrested Teens

No way should these kids be charged with a felony and I think it will be reduced. If this is true about him being the only one banned from the school then the board needs to rethink their decision. Honestly, I think they all should be banned from any school functionings and not allowed to walk at graduation just like the kids where done at PCHS a few years ago. They should be treated like other kids that have had a Level One Offense. Its as simple as having a rule and treating everyone the same with no exceptions. -
Tonight at Wild Bills, the band Man Made will be getting the party started for the Hank Williams Jr. after party. Come on out and lets have a good time and who knows WHO might show up. We still have free tickets to get you in the door to give away. These tickets will be $10.00 at the door, so if you want to go and save some money just let me know. Come on out and support a local band and have a good time. If you've never heard their music, you can go to their facebook page and check them out. Anyone want tickets just let me know!

My child got in trouble at PCHS last year for something less than this and got alternate school for a whole semister, and could not go to any school functionings during this time. He was a wrestler and could not continue his wrestling for the year. He did his time at Ombudsman and has been back in school for a year now. I think all the kids that were involved in this should not be allowed to attend any school functionings including graduation. For them to add this to this boys punishment and not the others is wrong. I also have a son that graduated from EPHS several years ago and was Mr. EPHS

The officer said chances are it was someone young. Just wish the son-in-law would have been a few minutes earlier because he would have had his 9m in his hand. Might have caught the punks. The laptop was in his brief case, so they took it all except his business cards which they threw all over his truck.

Mt. Zion Church Road runs off R.C. Thompson road, which rus off Buchanan Highway, near where Merl's BBQ use to be. Hope that helps. I'm not familar with that area. I just know how to get to her home and thats about it.

My daughter and her husband's trucks were broke into this morning. He walked out around 6 this morning with his dome light still on which means he almost caught them because the dome light goes off after a little while. They live in a subdivision in the Mt Zion Church Road area. The police officer told them they were the 43rd police report for vehicles being broke into this morning. They took his brief case, which had his work laptop in it and from her truck they took a new side mirror they had just bought for the truck. They tried to get her radio out but couldn't. Both trucks were locked and

I found this video yesterday while reading the letters to the editor of The Post Paper from Centre Alabama. I thought this might interest a few folkes that own property there or visit the lake. According to Scott Wright of The Post Paper, Alabama Power relocated the grave sites by only removing the skeletal remains. I thought that was strange to not move the wooden caskets to. I think this is in the area of the state boat docks between Centre and Cedar Bluff according to some of the comments left on the video. I find this very interesting and may try to research it more.

I'm out of this thread because ignorant people don't see how other kids have been discrimminated against. Rules are put in place to be followed, not special favors for the chosen ones. Every student in Paulding County should be treated the same no matter who they are, what they wear, what their grades are, what sports they play, or what clubs their in.

Beach bum, i know who you are but you don't know me. Our kids played ball together growing up and graduated from EPHS. You are missing the point here. Parents are upset, me included because these kids have had priviledges that kids before them never got for doing something wrong at school. I for one know this first hand and I will be one of those thinking about a lawsuit. My child is a good as these kids and was treated very harsh with the punishment that was dealt to him and his offense was way less than what these kids did.
-
Yes I do feel empathy for all of them, parents included, but don't come on here and down the people that are asking WHY these kids seem to be given special treatment. If I have read this whole thread correctly, parents are only saying they should be treated like all the other kids have been treated for doing stupid things. And yes I said "STUPID THINGS." I don't agree with the felony charge and yes I would be upset about that if it were my child but they SHOULD NOT be allowed to be in school. They should have been expelled just all the kids before them that did stupid things. Its called follow

My family was talking about this last night. My son graduated from EPHS and was very well known at the school. In a good way such as, good grades, played baseball and football and had several honors but even he said, "if I did that in school they would have kicked me out right away." He and his wife were saying they remembered two boys going across the road from the school and fighting. They were off the school's property but the school still got involved and both were expelled for 10 days. Now mind you they shouldn't have been fighting but the school system didn't mind getting involved even w

Come on Pubby what you just wrote doesn't make much sense. The traditional prank is painting the road but the road only. I had a child graduate EPHS in 1996 and 2003 and the road was the only spray painting going on. There was one time a kid put soap in the fountain and one time a kid burned a spot on the football field that I remember. Painting the buildings and vehicles is not a prank its down right destruction of someones property. Hey, and if 500 walks out let them walk. That will show how immature the kids and parents are.
-
The school system should have treated them just like they have all other kids in the past for breaking their so called RULES and that was immeadiate expulsion. They didn't do that so I think they have put theirselves in a sitution where they should be liable for whipping some kids past records clean. They didn't hesitate booting those out that spray painted PCHS a few years ago so you explain to all these parents what makes these kids better than theirs.

The kid I've been talking about was caught with weed. Long story but it was a set up by some other students that had already said they would see to it he would not be at school for awhile. Had to do with a girl. Resource officer called Mom and told him and her that he was not to be back on school property and if he was, he would be arrested for crimmnal trespass. Mom took him immeadiately and had drug test done and there was nothing in his system. A few days later Mom took him and had a hair folicle test done. Still nothing in his system. Went before the school systems so called tribuntal and

Yep me to. Will be getting my son a few others to school early tomorrow morning. -
Its a funny thing to me they don't take time to investigate when other students do something wrong at school. They immeadiately give them 10 days and in some cases they have to go before a tributal hearing. Then their sent to Ombudsman for a period of time. Sorry, this just pisses me off to see these kids get special favors when they've done all this damage to their school. And to think they still get to go to school each day, still get to keep their scholarships, and pretend nothing ever happened. I bet the reason the school system won't suspend them is if they do they will loose their schol
