Now that is a WONDERFUL idea. Too bad there isn't any gift giving in the family this year. We are going to enjoy each others company, good food and celebrate the Reason for the Season.

The easiest and BEST mac & cheese:
Kraft Deluxe M&C
Prepare as directed on box.
ADD and Mix Well:
2 Cups Milk
2 Cups Colby Jack Cheese
2 eggs
Place in 13x9 casserole dish
Cover with 2 Cups Sharp Cheese
Bake on 350 for 30 minutes. Do not over bake. It will continue to cook after removing from oven.

I have a friend who has sat with the elderly and pet sat for the last several years. Typically when she starts staying with someone she is there until the person passes away or needs to advance to a nursing home. She is a wonderful Christian lady who is very trustworthy, compassionate and sweet. I can see if she is currently staying with anyone or is available and get back with you.

No disrespect meant to Dale Sr, but his death has always reminded me of a John Lennon quote.
When Elvis died someone called Lennon for a quote, here is what he said: "Good career move."
It has amazed me, and I do mean amazed me, how Dale Sr. has been, for lack of a better word, deified by the NASCAR fans and the sport.
When back when he was racing there was a huge number of people that hated him.
I do not remember this happening with any other driver, Fireball Roberts or whoever.
I very seriously doubt that Dale Sr, had he lived would be a popular or thought of quite so well as he is now.
Before any Dale fans come after me, I liked Dale ever since he went through the grass to beat Bill and if you don't know what that means, then you are just a bandwagoner.
We will just agree to disagree when it comes to Dale, Sr. Yes there was a huge amount of folks who hated Dale, Sr and I was one of them!!!!! Not until he gave DW a ride in the Pennzoil car when he got screwed by Tim Beverly after he sold his team (and Steve Parks broke his leg in a wreck) did I become a fan of Senior. But, giving DW a ride when that happened I felt he wasn't as bad a guy as I had thought.
But, the rest of your post I disagree with.
I know exactly what you are referring to, "the pass in the grass" as it is referred to. I am NO WAY a bandwagoner. I was going to NASCAR races at Talladega in the early 1970's after the Alabama Gang aka Allison Brothers got in the fight with Cale Yarborough at Daytona. CBS and NASCAR did not want the coverage to show empty stands (although all that was at 'Dega at the time was the front stretch/OV Hill). So all the HS bands in the area were invited to do a pre-race parade so there would be bodies in the stands. People watching TV had no idea it was just a bunch of us teen-agers.
Having attended races since that time until my strokes in 2008 I KNOW Dale, Sr had more fans in attendance than all the other drivers combined. Also, having a sports apparel business prior to his death I can honestly say he WAS the #1 driver in sales.
Dale was popular long before his death. He may have gained fans when he died but I know NASCAR lost a lot of fans. Many of his longtime faithful fans refused to watch NASCAR after he died. They said NASCAR wasn't the same - and it hasn't been. Not only on the track but NASCAR officials listened to what Dale had to say. Since his death NASCAR drivers have not had a voice. Like him or hate him you always knew Dale was going to make it exciting. DH and I were sitting on the start/finish line the last race he won at Talladega. He was no where to be found until that last lap. I vividly remember looking down and asking my husband "WHERE did he come from???" It was electric!!
Like I said I will agree to disagree with you and as I said in my original posts we have different opinions. But, I am speaking from MY experience and observance as a lifelong NASCAR fan and business person.

Amazing how Darrell went from one of the most hated drivers to one of the most beloved guys in NASCAR.
Not a knock on Darrell at all, speaks well of him.
NASCAR fans have a way of doing that - repeatedly. At one time Dale, Sr was even hated by many (winning all the time can do that just as a lot of people don't like Jimmie Johnson right now for the same reason) as was Tony Stewart. In the case of DW and Tony I think they gained more fans when they tamed their mouth. After all DW was known as "Jaws" and was the first driver to voice an opinion in a "Gentleman's" sport. However, I don't see Kyle Busch going from being hated to beloved or at least it won't happen with THIS NASCAR fan!!

Every one has their own opinion and mine is in vast contrast to one in this thread. Not saying mine is right and his/hers is wrong but mine is completely different.
But, I agree with one poster that I was hoping this was gonna say FOX had ALL the NASCAR races!!! I adore Darrell Waltrip and love his coverage. He adds personality to what can at times be boring coverage and makes me laugh and I love his drivers perspective. Plus, Darrell is one of the nicest human beings I've had the pleasure to meet. As for Dale Jarrett and the former crew chief that is with him (the name escapes me at the moment) get on my nerves BIG TIME!! Not that they aren't decent commentators but their voices I can't stand.
