I remember him telling us as we just laughed our butts off, he said it could have been worse... if this all they do knowing this group of seniors... I am ok with this...

so what was your senior prank? I went to pchs, and ours was... putting the school in the paper for sale.. not long ago east paulding did the same thing... when i worked at ephs i seen a lot of funny pranks... the fountain outside filled with bubbles, it looked like (the Lawrence welk show), balloons filled the principals office, a huge photo of the principal on the flag pole, (flag was not on pole at the time) right now i can not think of the rest i was there 14 years, so i am sure i will think of more. so what was your high school prank?

I could handle that,... did you know they accept expired coupons? the one in hiram does... i did not know this until they told me one day when i went in there.. infact the cashier gave me a book of coupons...

the 17 year olds will be charged as adults...

That is what is confusing me... most cases are dealt with right then, ISS, or suspenion, or whatever but action is usually taken immediately

could it be that they are in school until the courts decide what they will do to them? you know like, you get like locked up, bail out, and can live your life as usually (work, etc..) until court until you are found guilty or not guilty... just asking... i do know that it is a state law that no child can be denied an education up to a certain age, i forgot what age it is, not sure if it is 18 or not. if that is the case then they should at least be going to alternative school but i do know that does cost more to send kids there. Just trying to figure out what punishment the school is

oh lawd feelip... you just made me think of the time.. I told my Daddy i was bored.. you know what he told me? go to the garden and pick all the rocks up in it... and gosh dang it... i had to do that .... and of course i missed some well probably a lot... and Daddy said this garden is doing better then i thought it would to be, growing all these rocks since you just picked all of them up..... my mama and daddy believed in giving us a butt whipping if we needed it (my brother and sister needed them more then i did) but they also would take things from us, and make us work for punishment..

school taxes will probably go up and this incident will be used as to why they are going up... just saying...

In a way your son may have learned a very valuable lesson that he may have to use himself later on in life... our kids need to see that we as parents are human and we do make mistakes however ... how we handle that mistake is something that our kids also watch,.
