  1. That's so cute... it doesn't take them to rule the home does it? How old is Nutmeg?
she'll be 11 in July...she's becoming a little old lady but shes always been rude.

My kitten and my puppy are crazy about each other--KILLING each other. Well OK, not really, but they play REALLY ROUGH, and so I let them play a bit together (i.e., try to kill one another) for a while every morning, and then I separate them, so that I can work (I work from home). Then they get play time again after work, while I fix dinner.

This afternoon, the kitten (who has never done ANYTHING like this before) was in the bedroom, and the puppy was in my office. I was just about to start dinner. My husband went into the bedroom, came out, and said, "There's been a "terrible accident" on the bed."

    Huh?

He says he'll handle it, but I go to see...my kitten has CR@PPED right in the center of my side of the bed! :shok:

Oh, I was so not happy. Not. Happy.

The bedding was stripped and replaced, and the last load is now in the laundry with the hottest water available...but I told my husband...this was NO ACCIDENT.

Wiscee the cat knew what he was doing and where he was doing it. <_>

I might forgive him someday. Maybe.

    :angry2:

oh yes...they have evil plans..I understand.

  2. What the heck - you might as well get a cat

You are exactly right! I tell her she acts like a cat all the time...its almost as if she doesnt mind   . She is the total opposite of any dog I've ever had...shes arrogant, self-centered, self-serving,conceited, etc etc etc... Oh and shes paralyzed...her back legs are. I tell her that to need me SO much, she sure acts ugly!

  3. I actually heard bluegrass today. My DD was like WTF? I told her it was country before country.

She asked "is that what old rednecks listen too" I said, "only the ones that still have stihls". She went  , I said nevermind.

What?!?! You said what?!?! Ask almost any musician and they'll tell you that not just anybody can pick up a mandolin or a banjo. It is far more complicated than almost anything you hear on the radio today. Most of that is pure garbage anyway.

  4. Honestly? Open up your hurting ears and enjoy something more than what they usually listen to. The dear lady that cut my hair today is apprently a huge fan of Gospel - there are some amazing voices in Gospel, as well as amazing talent in Bluegrass. It doesn't have to be your favorite, just respect it for what it is. Ya know? :)

And yodeling, my God, yodeling, well, we won't even bring up that talent.

    exactly! Bluegrass is true talent.

  5. DAM, that's a heck of a jam session! If that doesn't move you to tears or dancing, well, what can I say!

    Thanks!

I know!!! Thats almost like watching Ralph Stanley and Keith Whitley play together.

  6. He's an amazing talent with such insight into other forms of music. I still love the video with him and Chevy Chase (Al), and Steve Martin on the banjo is also so amazing! If I was good at posting videos I'd do it, but I think it's Steve Martin with other artists doing Foggy Mountain Breakdown. I think that's right. I'll go to YouTube and let you know.

YES! Ive tried posting those before but theyre all disabled. Sooooo good though...especially with Vince Gill. What a group!

  7. JLH.jpg like this you mean?

You we the camera happy one last time we occupied that building. :p

:nea: I don't think so Tim.

just get your hubcap after them
uh well it seemed to work pretty well for one mechanic.

  8. Thanks you little youngsters you. We saw them a few years ago on their "Reunion" tour. Paid a pretty penny for the tickets, but it was so worth it.

I was amazed with Paul Simon - he switched out guitars between each song, and when Art Garfunkel did Bridge Over Troubled Water - live - well the man still had it - better than on any recording you ever heard.

And I must say, they was one of the best "sing along" concerts I've ever been to, actually, one of the best concerts I've ever been to.

wow that sounds great! Hes a living legend. I saw him play impromtu with Steve Martin(banjo) one night last week on some late night show...he is REALLY so talented and very unassuming about it.

I love his african stuff too ;) .
