There seems to always be some dissatisfaction with FEMA responses. Frankly, I think it's just the same government ineptness we see in most of the things they do. Government doesn't do many things very well.

ETA.......I went back to find a article that confirmed the governor saying anything good about the relief effort from the trump administration, didn't find any. Since I dont know anything about the wack-a-doodle far right sites that gd must be getting his info. from and no link was given, I guess we know where he looks for his news.

I don't understand why you would suggest that only Democrats should be against the offshoring of millions of American jobs. Are you saying everyone else thinks it was somehow beneficial to this country? Or is it exactly what it appears to be - a lame attempt to make it a partisan issue?

Most of the people didn't die during the hurricane. They died from a lack of federal support during the aftermath of the storm.
That depends on who you listen to. Puerto Rico's governor has been mostly positive about the federal response, while that idiot mayor over there has done nothing but whine.
The response and restoration of services was a massive undertaking that was hampered by teh logistics of the island as well as a poorly timed trucker's strike.
But I suppose it's easy to be an armchair quarterback and criticize what you don't understand.

I think he called the Federal response to Hurricane Maria's impact on Puerto Rico a success. Depending on what Trump's objective was, it may well have been a success to have over 3,000 people die in Puerto Rico.
So Trump is expected to have god-like powers to keep people from dying in a hurricane?
I had no idea he had such powers.

Because most of your posts are so slanted and in most cases even factually incorrect; you're a prime target for those of us who are better informed and not driven by hate as you are.

I'll worry about that when I spend as much time as you do lying, apologizing and making excuses for Trump. The day I spend half time "scouring" the internet as you do with your head stuck up Trump's sphincter is the day I'll start to worry.

Not long ago, the Democrats on this forum were railing against the outsourcing and companies taking their manufacturing to other countries.
Now you're pissed because someone took at stand on it to encourage business to keep jobs here.

As for the Focus....both Ford and the media is spinning this into something it's not. Ford had been warned not to take their manufacturing elsewhere, they knew Trump wanted to keep jobs here. Ford got greedy and thumbed their nose at the United States, and now they are paying the price. They were making the cars here and it was selling well, but they wanted to try and squeeze more profits out of it at the expense of American jobs.
And all this hoopla after Ford announcing their intent to make only trucks and SUVs.
So yeah,, this is yet another case of Trump haters spinning the issue to attack him. And Cain is still linking yahoo as it it was a real news source. Of course, he wouldn't be interested in any articles that don't feed his hatred and bitterness.

How many does it take in Trump's inner circle to tell you he is unstable, stupid and has the attention span of a child before you get the message ? Are you prepared to wait until Trump has his "Cuban missile crisis" is that extra twenty in your paycheck and your right wing ideology more important than your country. ( That's a rhetorical question when it comes down to party and country we already know where the conservatives stand.)
I'll leave you with this, change is coming as much as change frightens you conservatives it's unstoppable, inevitable. I think we need to be aware of the possibility that many on our government, including Republicans and even some around Trump, are parts of the swamp that needs draining. In that case, I would expect some crap about Trump from them.
And I'll say again...the corruption in our government is not a partisan issue, it's an American problem. All of us need to demand answers and transparency from our government.

You think replacing dead and retiring SC judges is an accomplishment ? Awarding tax breaks that overwhelmingly favor the people that did not need them at the expense of a deficit that your great great great grandchildren will be paying for is something to brag about ? As far as these dreaded regulations go I would be willing to bet you would have to go on a google search to name one. I stated awhile back that there were both positive and negative reports of the government's response. I had seen one of the videos that Shan posted, but I've been too busy today to put a lot of time into searching for them.
All you (under various screen names) and Cain are concerned with is using them as a means of bashing Trump, as usual. You looked on the internet enough to find the negative reports and ignored the positive ones. I'd bet money that neither of you did anything to help PR, you're only outraged because Trump was at the helm while FEMA worked on the relief efforts.
As usual, just hate and partisan politics.
