I have always thought that it was about the money too.
Dropping the charges makes me think it was consensual, or that she is giving up, but if it was consensual, how can she win a civil case for emotional distress?
Well, the girl is still saying that the sex was not consensual so the civil case is still going forward.

True but looks are deceiving. I know of a person here in Paulding County who was running around on his wife (and infant son). From the outside, everything looked fine. It is the inside stuff that will get ya! Jesus will forgive but a wife will never forget.

Oh, I did see the ring. I seriously doubt that ring is going to be the end of it. Material things aside, he crapped on his wife and his child. No ring in this world can make up for that!

I do think it was about the money and the prosecution's doubt in the evidence. Screw the rape charge now, Kobe has to deal with his WIFE. I would imagine that is going to be much, much tougher than a rape trial.

He or the Legislature have to do something because Medicaid is eating up almost all the reserve funds. It is growing at an astounding rate.

We have no pure basketball players, meaning outside shooters, in the NBA. THat is why they suck at international play. The lane is much bigger so the inside guys are neutralized.

If it's the official county paper, why isn't it the Paulding New Era asnd why isn't it widely available outside of Dallas?
I would imagine that the founders of the Dallas New Era had no idea that Paulding County would ever need a county paper!

Anyone know of a good, reputable place in Hiram where I can get my dog groomed? She's a poodle (mid-sized) and it's hard to find someone who is really good at doing them right. I figured surely there's enough dog lovers/owners to help me out with this one...???

No offense but you have steadly said to me to get proof (which I did) on other things you and I have posted on, so instead of just making the acquisations how about telling us exactly what you are talking about, and who? And how do you know how much someone makes? Do you work on payroll and letting out private issues? How did you come about with that kind of info? Mine was easy Commissioner office. I don't see how you are getting yours unless you are in payroll.
I agree with you. I have seen soo many accusations on this site to which I would like to have evidence to their truth.

Why would they put a distribution center in an area dominated by commercial/small businesses?
The Wal-Mart distributin center is in LaGrange.
There not closing down the Hiram Wally World.
Its like everyone and thier grandmother has spoken or knows the manager/s at Wal-mart.
Said another way...its a rumor.

I hear that the Walmart is going to be on 120 going into Marietta and the Hiram Walmart will become a distribution center.

I know the Dollar Tree has cheap party supplies (great for goody bags and cheap napkins, plates and cups) and you can't beat Target. There isn't a Party City unless you want to drive to Douglasville, Kennesaw or Austell.

I had to giggle at that GSU student. If you look at the election returns, you will see that Gov. Perdue won the election because of the votes outside the metro area. You also have to note that the rural areas are much poorer, their tax base is much smaller, than the metro area so they rely on the "pork" from their legislators much more than we do here in the metro area. And, if you really dig through the budget, the pork isn't for roads and transportation. It goes to the schools, museums, parks and whatnot.

I wouldn't mind a GAA but a second Atlanta airport?! No way.
PDK airport would make much more sense but I don't know what the situation there is regarding room for expansion etc. and I would imagine there would be a huge neighborhood oppostion to it.
