Trouble is they have not always lived up to their promises. They have switched sides at times. Another very good reason to be a person/country whose word can be counted on. They stood up this time and good for them.

It does not bother you that Obama has let any advantage gained in the Middle East slip away? Or that he has released terrorists from Gitmo who have gone back to killing folks who disagree with their religion? They are not outrageous claims they are truth and most have been proven. Others will be in the future. You just don't want to admit the truth.

Me too. I won't judge any of them without more info but right now it looks as though the County had no choice in this matter. There was an inspection and apparently there were violations.

I would add to this that folks laugh at the French and make fun of them for not standing their ground and for throwing in the towel too easily. They did not do that with these bad guys and they stood with free speech. America looks weak all over the world in many ways right now and it starts with the leaders. Yep! Wishing we had better leadership in this country! The borders play big into all of this. How did the terrorists in a gun free country get guns? They came across their borders and they are coming across our borders along with much worse. Why are our borders so porous after 9-11? Why, because someone in power wants them to be that way? They are doing it in every country where they grow to large numbers. It is part of their religion to gain control and convert everyone to their religion. In Paris they have allowed Sharia Law and the police stay out of their communities because they are so dangerous. I don't know what the answer is but it is a real worry and we need to handle it with wisdom and compassion but at the same time we need to make sure this can't grow to be a problem in America.

My dealings with Tom have been very positive. I would hope no one has attacked him that way. I have to tell you that a lot of the time I do not like the things that make the most news but I have to admit that it is news. Attacking the messenger is just plain stupid. I don't like Obama at all but he has made lots of news. BTW I do like the folks in this group so that is not a comment on you guys.

Their page is a joke. They delete any opinions that do not fall in lock step with theirs. They have no idea how much damage that has done to their cause. Attacking a News Paper because of the paper's opinion about the News Story of the year and the folks who made that News did not make them look good. Petty comes to mind.

Trouble is some of us don't believe in political correctness so we get shot at all of the time..... With words that is. Stifling free speech is bad no matter who does it and it was tried right here in this thread.

So now you are taking this topic off to equal pay? You really think someone should be paid based upon their sex? I have always believed that you should be paid according to your worth to an employer. Man or woman. That would be equal rights. You really don't know me at all. I spend a lot of time fighting for and promoting the right of women to hold public office.

I do not know any woman from those religions that would put up with it for a second.
