  1. The Bill does not allow for this. You really need to find out what it really says and does before making statements like this. It is what the media is doing too.
  2. There is no negotiation if you give them everything they want and get nothing in return but the risk of being nuked by them with bombs you allowed them to build.
  3. Each state has to approve it into law because the law on the Federal books only covers the Federal government according to the Supreme Court's ruling in the Hobby Lobby case.
  4. This has to be approved by each state because it only covers the Federal government according to the Supreme Court's ruling on Hobby Lobby's case. The Religious Restoration Act of 1993 was introduced by Chuck Schumer (D-NY). It was passed by a unanimous Democrat House of Representatives and a near unanimous Democrat Senate, and Bill Clinton signed it into law -- and that law that is practically identical to the one in Indiana.
  5. He and Mrs. Guard Dad raised a wonderful smart daughter. I expect the new little lady will get lots of love/attention and will turn out the same way. Congratulations to all of them.
  6. I recycle them at home in my trash cans. What do you guys use for liners? Do you buy plastic liners?
  7. I think this failed to pass. http://www.ajc.com/news/news/state-regional-govt-politics/georgia-house-narrowly-votes-down-bill-to-bar-loca/nkghL/
  8. They want their pound of flesh.
  9. The Bill got tabled because a Legislator wanted to add an amendment that would change the meaning. May not pass this session.
  10. I take it that you think it is OK for the Government to put someone out of business because they refuse to provide a service that goes against their religion. What about that person's religious freedom? I guess you already know that the Federal law was introduced and sponsored by Senator Chuck Schumer of New York.
  11. I expect it may resemble the Bill passed by the Georgia Legislature yesterday. It is most likely the one that is on the Federal Books. You know, the one that protected Hobby Lobby's right to opt out of providing aboortzions for religious reasons......
  12. For clarification. A lot of people do not know there are two representing Paulding. They think only of one Party and at one time that would have been correct. With redistricting we gained a female Democrat. Which would you have guessed made that statement?
  13. It is an ever increasing tax too. I don't think she even knows what she voted for.
  14. There is only one "she" representing most of Paulding County. There is another one that represents part of Paulding and Douglas. That one is a Democrat. The one who wrote this is a Republican.
  15. Straight out of the talking points for the House supporters. Shame on her for trying to push this nonsense on her constituents. She voted to saddle them with higher taxes in large part because the Speaker of the House wanted it done. She does not work for him she works for the people who sent her down there. She should be voting their will not hers.
  16. Ask him yourself but I can tell you it was a bad Bill and still is.
  17. Are you sure Alexander voted against it? On her own FB page she says she voted for it. Last account I had the only Representative who voted against it was Micah Gravley. I suggest you check your source one more time. Senator Bill Heath voted against it and Senator Michael Dugan voted for it. If only one more Senator had voted against it the result would have been different. Mike Dugan has a lot to answer for. BTW I heard that those who voted against it paid a price for standing with their Constituents. Here is the vote if you wish to check it. http://www.legis.ga.gov/Legisl
  18. Apparently you live well until the end.....
  19. Depends on whether any laws were broken. If they were it is not over. He was given a contract by Mr. Austin for consulting if I am not mistaken.
  20. Guess you could call any political activist or watch dog group rubble rousers. I am sure she wears that badge proudly.
  21. Seems to me she got his attention. When things don't meet the smell test it is good to have folks asking questions. What Mr. Jones did to Candi was not right in my opinion. You ain't seen nothing yet. Stay tuned.......
