Question is when the rolls swell because of this ruling will the states add all of those folks to the rolls. Don't think they can afford to and the SCOTUS says they don't have too.
-
People of Mass. wanted it. Romney gave them what they wanted. Hope he does the same for "We The People" when he becomes President.
-
You think? As I understand it the states can opt out of the medicaid portion. You do know Georgia is one of the states who argued that point.

House will vote on repeal of this Law on July 11th. http://www.politico.com/blogs/on-congress/2012/06/cantor-house-will-vote-on-repeal-week-of-july-127555.html

What it has done is put a huge new tax on the middle class as if they were not sinking already.
-
I would have to wade through the law again but you might find it in the discussions about the Bill right here on p.com.
-
Obama just made around 800,000 of them legal so I guess those folks can. Will they? I doubt it.
-
No, you will pay a fine and get the benefit of the insurance. Most will drop it and do it all over again when they are healthy again. The fine is cheaper than the insurance.
-
Certainly not those footing the bill for it! It is a huge new tax and no it is not a victory for the people.
-
He is speaking of the portion of the law that allows for a small fine on folks who do not carry insurance. That means they can choose not to have it and when it is needed get the benefit of it anyway.
-
Oh no! What needs fixing is the occupant of the White House and those who voted for this Law.
-
Repeal this Law! Obama has to go!
-
repeating my above post: This effects medicaid coverage and health care exchanges. It will cost individuals more as I understand it. Is it really a victory for Obama? I am not so sure that it is. Not surprised it is damaging to business!

States cannot be penalized if they opt out of this as I understand it. Feds cannot withhold funds to states because they do. Anybody have any info? This effects medicaid coverage and health care exchanges. It will cost individuals more as I understand it. Is it really a victory for Obama? I am not so sure that it is.

Shocking! Mixed decision. This will still be a campaign issue and a big one.
-
Mandate will stand as a tax? Is that what you get? Cannot stand under the Commerce Clause?
-
SCOTUS strikes down the Individual Mandate? It was found to be unconstitutional Conflicting reports, they are also saying it can survive as a tax.
-
I believe that Carruth will be on the ballot.

I read it. I know the difference too. Illegals cost the tax payers a fortune and legal immigrants usually don't. No defense for them and no excuse for them is good enough. Obama is not going to enforce the laws concerning them so trying to make the employers pay is not going to happen. Not even sure at this point how many of the state laws can really be enforced.
