I never heard anymore come over the scanner yesterday.

Ok. I must have my scanner paused or something, because they just said they are going back to check the father's residence. Yep. They just got him. I am going to shut off my scanner and turn it back on. Either my traffic is coming in way behind yours, or mine was paused for a few minutes. Way to go guys!!!

OK. This is strange, but one has nothing to do with the other. The Gloria Van Zant is the residence other officers are at. Has nothing to do with the BOLO They are still searching for the suspect. The victim knew his attacker. Attacker is on foot.

They just ran tags for a Gloria Van Zant, but I am not sure why. I don't know if they have the car he was in and he bailed, or what? I hate when I miss the first part of something.

I know exactly what you are saying, and you are right on the money. You went through two teens, and you did right by them. Unfortunately, her parents did not even have control of their own lives, much less try to keep control over her and her life. That is what I meant by "learned by example." Again, I am NOT excusing her. She needs to get control, or give those babies to someone who can take care of them. They don't need to grow up with someone who goes around slashing tires.

I am 100% with you on that one. I am not really defending her, but wanted to point out it falls back on others also. It is time for her to grow up. She is bringing babies into this world, and she needs to be a better example to them, than her parents were to her.

In conversation w/someone last night, I figured out I know a little second hand info on her and the people she is staying with. If it is correct, the first name of this person is Josh, but he is not supposed to be her boyfriend. The boyfriend's name is Tim, and the last known about him was that he was in jail. The reason I said that, is because when I was going through my divorce, my ex had torn some things up at "our" house, and they told me it was his house, his belongings, just as much as mine, and he had the right to do what he wanted to with it. I am not a lawyer, and I am not going to pretend to be, BUT if they are married then the truck is her property also. Therefore, from what I understand, she can tear it up if she wants to and there is nothing illegal about it. Correct me if I am wrong on that.

It is so weird how we hear info from the scanner at different times. You posted that they cancelled, I read it, and then I heard it over the scanner. Your frequency must be different. Do you listen through your computer also.
