I just heard some scanner traffice saying they are taking one male from SPHS to the SO. So, they have been called to PCHS, AMS, and SPHS today, and atleast 2 have gone to jail.

SO to meet at the front office. I believe they said there was an altercation at the school. One SO is leaving SPMS and heading to AMS.

I was in the line, and kept looking back at how long this line was. These are wonderful people, and their hearts are breaking. I could not even imagine what they are going through. One of the saddest parts about this, is the fact that he was only diagnosed less than 3 weeks ago, and passed Saturday. The family didn't even have time to wrap their heads around it, before he was gone. Some of the siblings are so young, and I am sure they just don't completely understand yet. Loni is a wonderful mother, and full of faith, so I have complete confidence that she knows best on how to help them

I dated Loni's brother years ago, and loved her and the entire family so much. We ran into each other at one of her church functions a few months back, around Easter. I never said pill heads had to be meth heads. The information given in the phone call, said the co-workers believed he was on meth, and he had 40 morphine patches on him. Nowhere in this entire post does it say that pill heads had to be meth heads. That is also NOT to say, that one doesn't go along with the other MANY times. Guess what. I am in a CMA meeting atleast twice a week, and most of those meth heads, also did pills. Just because the ones you know don't do both (that you know of) doesn't mean it ain't happening. I'm just saying.....

I did say that, because I know a couple personally who has been doing this for years. I have known them for 16 years, and they have been doing it the entire time I have known them. They have raised one of their son's to be the same way. The things that they do to get these medications is unbelievable to me. They abuse these medications horribly, and get such an abundance of them, still have extra to sell. And because they said he "may" be on meth, then I said "if" it was true. I don't think anyone made any assumptions about this individual, we were just discussing in general how he MAY have been able to get them.

Unfortunately, most of us know someone who is addicted or abuses drugs. How would explain the person having 40 morphine patches on him? You are right in the fact that we don't know the circumstances of THIS individual, and no names were given, and I for one said "IF" the man is on meth, and part of the drug world, he probably knew how to get them. No one claimed to know facts on how THIS man was able to get them. We don't even know who he is.

I had an uncle who was hanging Christmas lights, and fell and hit his head and also died. Very sad.

Yep. Very true. I see this first hand. I know people who do this. They go from one pain clinic to another and one pharmacy to another, load up on oxycotin or whatever, and then sell them on the streets. I don't know how they have been doing for as many years as they have.

If he was on meth, then he was part of the drug world. Believe me, there is alot of things available out there. Cancer patients or whatever get prescriptions for it, and sometimes people who know you have them, will break in and steal them and then sell them. No. Once they arrived I didn't really hear anything else. Unfortunately, alot of med calls started coming in. Another off the same road for a man who fell and broke his ribs. There was also a man who fell off of a 15 ft ladder at a new subdivision construction site. He was in really bad shape. They had to call life flight for him. My son was there and told me about it when I picked him up. One of his friends had been knocked into some other kid. The other kid got mad and started yelling at him. My son said his friend just went and sat down, and the other kid came up and punched him in the face. A couple other kids got involved I guess. The one that through the punch and I think his buddy went to jail. The one that was hit did not.

That was a quick 30-60 minutes.

There is a gas main break at 551 Industrial Way. This is at the Kelley Landscape Managment location. There is a gas leak. Atlanta Gas Light is being notified. They are shutting down a portion of this road. The contractor hit the line at the location. It is blowing at this time. They said the leak is either 3 ft or 3 inches long. I am not sure which. ETA for gas company is 30 minutes to an hour. SO will be standing by until that time.
