Is this for me? If so, first of all I get zero benefits being married or not. I dont want to be married. And yes we still live together more or less as bf/gf. And like I said he has his room and I have mine. So as far as SEX benefits, whether it is anyones business or not, we dont have it. So because at one time when we did now I dont have an answer about what we are. You cant put Its Complicated on government papers. And like I stated before neither of us make much money so we stay together mainly for that. If I lived with a female roomate that was once a gf would I be having these problems.

Thank you for trying to defend me but like I told overit it doesnt matter. Some people just dont get it.And yes I pointed that out about the spouse, live in or whatever. If you can find me a Doctor that will take payments and do tests that I need with my credit (And btw my credit is bad because of medical bills), then I will gladly go. The last one I tried to see wanted me to have an EEG but then said oops no insurance so no go. And further more didnt want to see me anymore because he couldnt run tests on me because I couldnt pay for them at the time of service. This was after I had been going to him for 10 years. Yes I have Disability. It is what I paid into SS when I did work until I became where I could no longer work. SSI is supplemental income where if you AND your household doesnt make a certain amount for what you pay out in bills you get. Well that and Medicaid go hand and hand through the SS office. I dont understand the lady telling me the only way I could prove our income was a joint tax return. When I told her we werent married she said it didnt matter we were common law. Actually you are correct here. But havent you ever spoke or wrote before you thought how to put into words what you wanted to say? Sure you have we all have. I had just got off the phone with someone who shouldnt be in the business she is in. She is very incompetent and doesnt know what she is talking about. So yes I was little off kilter. I apologize.

Ok first off. I said I wasnt posting anymore but this is why I am grouchy. People talking what they dont know. So second,you must know me. Or you have seen some of my posts. Well since I am being given the same type of attitude here from people that no absolutely nothing of which they are talking about, I feel vindicated about my attitude here and there. And so you think I need to file taxes with someone I have absolutely no business filing with a little bit of paper work then you are worse off than the lady who told me I needed to. And it is not free healthcare. You still pay a percentage on everything. And yes I NEED IT. So until you have walked a day in my shoes dont judge. Furthermore I had no attitude with her until she got one with me.

Well she didnt imply that was the case. I have been divorced 20 years and wanna keep it that way. So just to make sure I am not using the wrong terminology on any kind of paperwork I file or using his income, taxes or anything else so that we are going to be considered married, I ask the questions.

Ok I guess I should clarify.I am by far not trying to cheat the system by no means. I am truly in need of Medicaid. She says that we should be filing taxes together and unless I have a recent tax return that we filed together that I do not qualify. But we have only been together since 2000 so we got together after the law was changed. So if we need to file taxes together, why was he not eligible to be on my insurance plan when I worked? Could someone please explain common law in the stste of Ga. for me. And please dont tell me there isnt. I just argued with the lady in charge of SSI for 30 minutes about it. From my understanding about 10 or more years ago they passed a law saying common law was no more in the state of Ga. But now that I am trying to get my SSI/Medicaid she says that because I live with my boyfriend we are common law and his income and bills and everything else including taxes applies to me also. Anyway if you know for sure first hand let me know. Thanks.

Well I have been going to them for years and they have literally saved my life twice. I still see them now and they are awesome. The first time I seen them was in 1998 Dr. Swartz*(God rest his soul) for a lung abcess. The second time was in 2008 Dr. Straze* for a lung collapse. And now i see Dr. Paramesh. My mom,sister in law and cousin also see them. And if it wasnt for them we would all be dead. So go to them and see for yourself. The entire staff is very friendly and seem to care also.

Not sure. I've had it about 3 months. My cd drive doesn't work so I can't put the cd in. And the main computer is working. But the other one isn't. Everytime it shuts down I have to do this. Usually it's no problem. Thanks anyway.
