On 6/27/15 between the hours of 0430 and 0630, an armed robbery took place at another restaurant, one known for serving burgers and cold drinks made with a mixture of milk and ice cream. Been looking for news or further information regarding said robbery, but haven't found any anywhere. In addition, in the last 6 months, a certain cell-phone store has been robbed not once, but twice, as well as a retail store selling video games. None of them have been on the local news, at least, not that I can tell. All this to say, our little towns here have been attracting interest from the criminal element. Watch your surroundings, and if you're unfortunate enough to work retail or food in the area, watch your back, and follow common sense safety procedures. Anyone seen or heard anything? Any news stories? I did some quick boolean searches on google, but turned up nothing. Link to post Share on other sites

rednekkhikkchikk Posted July 2, 2015 Report Share Posted July 2, 2015 Not heard anything about Hiram incidents but this morning there were several police cars, an ambulance and fire rescue up at the convenience store on W Memorial that was robbed (where the lady was shot) awhile back. They installed some serious bulletproof enclosure right afterward, so hopefully if someone were so brazen to do it again that would have prevented her suffering injuries as a result. And even when you do hear something, it is usually wrong information (news channels, online sites, etc.) How hard is it to get a street name correct or a town name?? Was a situation involving a parent and two kids who were possibly sleeping in a car there overnight or something along those lines.
