gpatt0n Posted December 9, 2011 Report Share Posted December 9, 2011 MODS: I moved this to the county wide news forum if for no other reason a person who has been a representative of this county in Washington for more than a decade is running for president, not to mention that he is leading in the polls in the first primaries and may well be at the head of the Republican ticket. Indeed, as the GOP primary will become a local event sometime in mid-February, we might consider simple no-political announcements - i.e. those that don't highlight partisan strife - but rather simply inform the community of events as something of more general interest. The point being even if you don't support Newt, the impact on Paulding of him potentially becoming president is significant and newsworthy. Kind of like his speaking at the 50th Anniversary of the Paulding Chamber banquet last year. pubby Link to post Share on other sites
