Accident 278 & Old Harris

Paulding County E-911 advises you to AVOID H278-Old Harris Rd due to a current traffic accident.

 

A vehicle crash near H278-Old Harris Rd has closed H278 east bound and west bound lanes, and will require a detour of traffic for the next 2 hours

Wow this must be beyond bad for east and west bound lines to be shut down. Prayers for all involved.

Just spoke with my mother and she said the actual accident happened a little past Old Harris Rd right before the bridge. She said all she could see was emergency vehicle lights.

Is this near Paulding High?

 

I am asking because my yard lit up with lights earlier and I am now assuming it must have been life light.

 

 

 

EDIT: I did verify this location and that it was life light. Praying for all involved.

I have a friend that lives in the apartments at that intersection and life light was/is there.

from what I have read it was a wrong way driver one was airlifted and one taken to Kennestone.. both were awake and talking at the scene

The 21 or 22 year old female that was airlifted is going to be ok according to her brother's facebook status. She has a concussion, is brusied up and has stitches in her foot and her spleen is bleeding. He just updated and said they are getting ready to head to surgery to remove her spleen.

 

Do not know any information about the other driver.
