severe injuries - head on collision reported

 

have not heard station 11 toned out yet, but I should hear them head by shortly

My husband is on Dabbs Bridge and did not see anything, he is on the Paulding side. When I saw this post, I had to call to see if he was okay. Hope everyone gets home.

SO 144 turning on DBR now - reports are DBR at the Pumpkinvine bridge

 

clark has med 4 enroute

res 11 reports 4 car MVA on bridge over Pumpkinvine, head on collision at this area - no injuries, continuing to Bartow/Cobb/Paulding, which is about 1/2 mile further to investigate original area of call.

144 stuck at the bridge - fire fighters are getting a ride with citizens to wreck that must be up dripping rock trail - a Bartow road that goes north from DBR

 

bridge is impassible - clark being advised to continue in from 41/cobb side

 

they should get Bartow station 4 or Cobb 28 to respond to this

 

engine 8 was out on a call on cedarcrest - they are responding from Cedarcrest to 41 to DBR to wreck site

once you get to the top of the hill on dripping rock,you are in bartow

truck into power pole - pole is broken and res 11 requesting power county enroute

my error - 181 was checking a MVA on 61 north of DBR - he did not find anything.

Freebird have you any updates on Dabbs Bridge, especially the Pumpkinvine Creek bridge?

I have not been listening - I assuming that the bridge will still be iced over. I don't live far from there and my driveway is bad. I would not go out if you don't have to.

Thanks Free Bird, my wife and children had to turn around at the Pumpkinvine bridge and go back to 41, they are on 381 toward Dallas, and hopefully they will be able to travel 61 north as an alternate route.
