I had a malignant lump removed 11 yrs. ago and I was in my mid 40's and so far I have had no recurrence. My Mom had the same thing a year later than I did and hers came back after 8 yrs. Everyone get your mammograms...that is the only way they found mine because you couldn't feel the lump, it was real deep all the way to the chest wall so I am a believer for sure. Not much bigger than a blackeye pea but very dangerous! I had my daughter start getting mammograms in her 20's because of the family history.
