This is sad news. I interviewed Mr. Earwood years ago when he was the board chairman for Oglethorpe Power; which provided electric generation for many of the state's Rural Electric Co-ops. He had just put his signature on a half-billion dollar (or was it a billion dollar) bond for construction of power generating equipment. He was also associated with Greystone Power and served on its board.

Condolences to the Earwood family. We have know the family for about as long as we have lived in Paulding County. We will miss seeing Calvin and Julianne sitting in the pew behind us at the First United Methodist Church each Sunday morning at the early service.
