When we called Eberhart's, we were told visitation with the family would start 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday and the funeral service would begin in the Eberhart Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, but please call to verify. I think we all have stories about the generosity of this man. My mother lived with us for twelve years and was on a fixed income. She was severely diabetic, had heart problems and many other problems. Charles allowed her to charge her medicine and pay whatever she could along the way. We were eating out with my brother-in-law, Dr. John Sparti, and some other family that had come into town when John was called about the loss during the meal. We were all so upset, and we were all so shocked we had to just leave the restaurant. It is a tremendous loss. Our prayers are with his family. It is a sad day for Paulding County. What a gentle, kind soul he was. We can't express how sad we feel.
