  1. Gosh, if we went home from Cedartown the other way, we would have hit both of them. The one at Buchanan was fairly brisk --- he didn't even examine the lic. when my wife started to take it out. No reg. or ins. check at all. I do wish he had on a reflector or somethng, 'cause we didn't see him as we approached --- just the police car across the street.

How was the one at Nebo?

Yep, he took my license and went to the back to check my tag, handed it back and said drive safely. No insurance or registration requested. Lots of people pulled to the side in the church parking lot and at Roses.

  5. So glad you made it by the store! It is a really neat place to hang out and it is a pretty walk around town...too bad it doesn't get much traffic.

Hope you enjoy our products that you purchased! Be sure and let me know how you like them or if you have any favorites! The Blueberry Chocolate Truffle Body Scrub is our best seller! Everyone loves it and they were freshly made just a couple of weeks ago when Bruce dropped them off. I'm thinking it is going to be a soap soon...

There was only 1 Blueberry Choc. Truffle B.Scrub left so I was lucky to get it ^_^ As soon as I use them I will let you know :)

I need to get by there and get some bubble gum lip balm...Hellraiser and I are addicted. I actually REALLY need to go buy some hard back books, but I can't get anybody to watch Hellraiser long enough for me to run up there (darn hubby <_< ) and she thinks the bookstore is a jungle gym.

That's what I bought today and they are a wonderful price. Pretty to display around the house before and after they are read :D I just hate she is having to close :( but I hope I can get back up there before she does and buy some more :) I guess I need to try the lip balm too.

  6. Just wanted to make a new post to remind people of The Next Chapter Closing. Hours are 9:30-6pm and the last day is October 31st. Please stop by and get some great items at 40% off and all SI products are 50% off until she closes on all items, including candles.

We are so sad to see Janet close. She has worked so hard to advertise and bring people into her bookstore.

Now is the time, there is about 28 days left, so don't miss out on the savings!!!

I stopped by today and bought several hard back books (about 12) and a couple of paper backs.

I did grab some of your Scarlet Indulgence...........Pomegranate twilight body cream, Perfectly Pink hand and body cream, Pomegranate Twilight soap, Scent free soap, Blueberry Chocolate Truffle Br. Sugar body scrub, and 3 of the Brown Sugar body buffs...honey,chamomile and with tea tree oil. I haven't tried them yet but I can't wait.

This is the first time I have visited Next Chapter and I do hate to see her have to close. I enjoyed my visit to Next Chapter and my walk around town. I should do this more often.

  7. I think I'd rather stab myself in the eye (I said foot at first, but decided my eye would be more accurate) than go see her or hear her obnoxious arse in person. I like her cookbooks, and her show used to be good, but now her voice is like fingernails going down a chalkboard. And I do bet she is a big ole B in person.

     Yep

  8. Lauren is two years old. She has most all toys a girl of two could have. Well, she didnt have a baby doll. We drop so much money on toys for our kids all the time, getting the name brand stuff. I went to dollar general today to get some tp and saw a baby doll for $5. I got it, and brought it home to her. She loves it! Way more than any of those other and more expensive toys. Its just funny that kids wont touch something that cost an arm and leg, but love a $5 toy. Im now thinking Ill do most of my Christmas shopping there.

Yep, we bring the pricey name brand toys home and the kids want to play with the box it came in

  9. The urine does work. Yep I know first hand ;) When I was about 17 or 18 and at home with a horrible ear ache, and no medicine, my mom told me to pee in a cup and get a dropper and put a few drops in my ear. I used to get ear aches all the time when I was young. I have never had another one. I guess it scared the pee out of me
