Paulding.com is being repaired as we speak.
We are actually rebuilding some of the tables as they had developed some errors in the database.
Oh well ... from what I've seen the whole things is a bit of a challenge.

Should be back to 'normal' as of now.

Just keep running in that little wheel, there.
It's still a bit too early to hit me with those sort of questions
Ok, I'm out.
Time for a Crown n Coke, or a Jager bomb or something
-
Yeah... but the video on the page while it was down was too good ta miss
Pat should link that somewhere, imo.
-
Looks like it
-
Hmmm... we'll see.
-
Rebuilt several tables... dropped and recreating our largest index, etc...
Maybe we can coax the hamsters into action again soon.
Test, 1...2...3...

Hey.
Howdy to you, too
-
'Mornin'!
Stay safe out there, LR.
Have fun, though. Looks like an awesome day for a ride
-
Howdy!
Yeah, I don't hang around much these days. I know.
Well... back to running in this little wheel, over here.

Updated to IPB 2.3.5 successfully.
The worst is over... but content rebuilds will continue for the next few hours.
If you notice slowness... please be patient.
It will clear up, later on in the day.
-
You gonna put this on the front page with a Under Construction so when people LOG on
it will be the first thing they see?
In reality, any issues should be quite intermittent, and I just threw this out as an FYI.
If I see there's going to be more than a 10 minute continuous interruption, I may put up something to that effect.
-
We will be upgrading to the latest version of the IPB software today.
Just a "heads up", that there may be periods of time where the forums
might be slow, have page or posting errors, or be unavailable completely.
Thanks!

A search wouldn't help, since it erroneously said I posted at 1236.
Whenever a poll is voted on... it updates the 'last action' attribute on the thread, and 'bumps' the thread to the top again.
Unfortunately, the person who made the last actual 'reply' to the thread is shown as making that last action... which isn't necessarily the case.
Hope that clears it up

Good morning, Pcom!

That's was kinda funny..
but it's Cletus take the reel
That's what it sez.
Yeah... after I changed it.
Nice 'catch'.
-
...so I thought I'd share
Actually it was more like 3:30 or so, if you count the time it took to post this.

Good morning, all!

Got your PM, but my stupid computer won't let me respond.
Hubby is APD. I would have guessed you were too, on account of your screen name and all.
Anyhoo, thanks for all of the well wishes! I am not looking forward to the traffic in the morning at all, I might end up with Road Rage, and someone will have to come bail me out of jail. I hate driving, after four and a half years of working ten minutes from home, one interview a long ways away might do me in.
I make roughly the same drive every day, South Paulding to Windy Hill area... and it's not 'too' bad.
Well... in the mornings, anyhow. (And my working 'early' certainly helps matters, I'm sure.)
If you end up with 'normal' hours... yeah... it can be a bear. The afternoon drive, especially.
(That goes for any of the 3 or 4 ways to get here and back)
Congrats on the interview, though. It could be worse. At least it's not in Alpharetta

My boss and I passed one of those - different costume, I think it was a dollar bill - today on Cobb Pkwy. near Windy Hill. We both looked at the guy and said "there is no way in the world I would trust my money or financial info to those people". Heads up people hiring these folks to be your advertising!
I agree with that one.
The last two times I've seen that one... he obviously didn't have any interest in being there.
(Head down... shuffling around... neither waving nor smiling, etc...)
It doesn't help that, in addition to the worker seeming disinterested, the costume
itself is either really faded... or really, really dirty. Not a good representative at all.
The Statue of Liberty folks are at least usually upbeat... and sometimes downright entertaining

Is it good for the 29+ crowd? Buffalo Wild Wings always seems busy, but the young kids hang there, and I just feel out of place.
If it's a "happenin" place you're looking for... get used to it. The younger 20-somethings are who it's happenin' for, mostly
The last trip I made through all my old favs in Buckhead, before they got shut down... just had me shakin' my head.
(Like, WOW... they're old enough to drink?)

Currently rebuilding one of two indexes that were in error.
This may cause a bit of 'weirdness' until it is sorted out.
