Can any computer gurus give me some clues of how to feload Windows [8,0?; 8.1?] onto my Lenovo ? Which site to trust...[there must be 25] and how to tell if they are legit ? I have piles of follow up emails to do from the poultry show last week and I am having to use my 2005 Dell Tower, The Lenovo keeps dropping out the email. I click on send, and I get a message in a cloud that the page cannot be refreshed, .....and I have to type the message over again. I type them in WORD now, and cut and paste. But If it looses a message with attachements, I have to do all the attachme

We bought 2 of these Lenoivo G50 laptops summer of 2015 whilst I was in the hospital. It is now getting impossible to even send a simple email, let along other normally easy chores. Did anyone else out there waste their money on one of these ? And what can you recommend for help ???? The warrantee is over and done with, and its like they self distructed 30-90 days afterwards. So, so, so aggravating.

Yeah, I was a green kid at that first show in 1976. We had 100 exhibitors, and took up most of the old "A" hall along side Andrew Young/International. Maybe 5000 attendees. Now we have 1200+ exhibitors [and you have to consider the aquisitions and mergers of the various companies where 1 company is now what was 4 or 5 differend companies years ago] and are expecting over 30,000 registered attendees. That is a lot of folks, and considering they are all tied to the poultry industry only, that is impressive. I will get to see a great number of old dear friends, from all over the

I shop with my eyes open. The new Farmers Market on Austell Road near Cobb Wellstar Hospital......... T-bone steaks were like $5 a pound. Not bad, but not thick enough for me. A bit further down the meat aisle, and they had T-Bone Primals, 15 pounds, for $3.49 a pound. Say what ? T-Bones for $3,49.......So I had them slice it up for me into 7 steaks, each about 2" thick. He offered to trim them, but I declined, as I wanted to trim off the fat, of which there was very, very little, to hold for when I grind beef. Fat from any of the Primal Backbone cuts is what makes the gro

I am a native Atlantan who has rooted and pulled for the Coons since they started...... what 1965 ? Poor old Bartkowski used to get his butt kicked all over the backfield while Tommy Nobis and the rest of them tried to protect him.....to no avail. I LOVED seeing the coons beat San Fran and LA this year badly. I remember when they beat us like 63-3 and such absurd numbers. For the NaySayers......I love to watch the Falcons. Cheap entertainment, fun to watch, and pure enjoyment when they win like they have this year. They had 3 games stolen from them with BAD calls from the ref

One Congressjman's health insurance premium would provide what, .... 10 families $100 a month in food stamps for a year ? How can you try to exempt certain foods because they are more expensive ? I understand beer and wine out of principle, but the rest gets real opinionated. I shop with my eyes open.....wide. I bought a 15 pound whole T-bone, trimmed, for $3.49 at the new Farmers Market on Austell Road in Marietta last week. They cut it into 2"+ Steaks for me. I terimmed less than 1 ound of fat off of it, which I will use next time I friund a bottom round or such for burgers.

It would behoove me to be able to store all of my pieces and parts at the stainless steel fab shop that does work for me now. My associate in England has sent me all the rest of his inventory and has officially declared himself to be retired. He is currently on a Cruise Ship going from the UK, thru the Panama Canal, to San Fransisco where he will spend the night, and maybe go out to dinner with my son who now lives in Santa Cruz, south of the Bay, Then John is off to down under for a month or more in Australia, then on a boat around the Horn of Africa arriving back in the UK Mid Marc

I say "Gag-n-Heave" Have not eaten in one since the late 1970s? Have not stepped foot inside on since the mid 1990s, before my son's taste buds grew proper nerve endings and he realized how much better the home cooked food was, including burgers and fries. And yes, I still grind my own beef. It is worth the time and effort.

No longer considered true Grasshopper. Eggs in Moderation are fine, and butter is now considered safer long term than margarine or anything with Trans Fats. And it sure is good eats!!! -

Atlanta ABC station no longer on Uverse or Direct TV
surepip replied to AustinPlantation's topic in RECENT TOPICS
AT&T Wireless customer service, technical support, accounting, etc., all seem to be great!!! It is hard to believe AT&T landline, dsl, and now direct, are the same corporate identity. They certainly have 2 totally different management attitudes towards the customers, and what is right and wrong. I have found when I ask them to check my loyalty, going back to 1977 for my AT&T International Phone Card, and 1974 for my Bell South Landline, some of the CSR will cut me some slack. -
No, but I have had to back away from my beloved crossword puzzles. After my debaucles with Wellstar last year, dieing 3 times, one and a half of which they KILLED me, my brain has suffered. I can no longer do the plain Sunday NYTimes crossword, let alone the big oe you mention. 25 Years I have done them, but now my brain is too severely damaged to work them anymore,, Thanks though !!!!!

OK, I bought a gorgeous rib roast to cook for Christmas, which I ended up spending at Emory Hospital on Clifton Road. No Rare roast beef to be found anywhere. We were all ready to have the Roast Beef for New Years, and stumbled onto 2 boneless whole pork loins at Kroger for $1 a pound, and a $0.39 a pound fresh turkey, both reduced for quick sale. So I readjusted our menu, cooking schedule and did a spice rub on the pork and turkey, and let them rest overnight soaking up the sodium chloride and herbs/spices. Then browned them off the next day, and braised them overnight, while we

I am out of pocket until probably Monday. I am in Emory under observation to see if the Neurologists can pin point where my problems are coming from that give me the spasms, twitches, jerks, etc. Not quite siezures, but close. I had one other college student available. It will take 2 guys for the first day. After that I can use 1, or 2 for another couple of days. -
I guess she and Eva were the first Kardashians ?

I met my out of pocket and co-pays on the health insurance this year so all my meds have been no charge the past 6 months. I tell Mike just to fill everything [i take like 25-40 meds aa day], and several times he filled the Rugby Step One Nicotine transdermal patches. I have 4 boxes 14 patches. They do help, and I have not had a smoke in over a year. If anyone wants these let me know. Donations accepted but are not necessary.
