  1. Let's clarify that because there are a LOT of people who misunderstand the law.

Open carry is legal ONLY if you have a firearms license.

The license you get at the Probate office is NOT a concealed carry permit, it is a firearms license.

If you do not possess a firearms license, you may not carry open or concealed on your person.

The license does allow for concealed carry, but it's not strictly a concealed carry license.

Without a license, you may have it in plain view in your car, unloaded and separated from the ammo.

You may also carry it loaded, in your glove box. Anywhere else in the car, without a firearms permit, it

must not be loaded or have the ammo within reach.

The only time the ammo must not be separated is if it's in a locked container.

With the new law that was passed that allowed carry in a restaurant that serves alcohol, it also allows anyone who is ELIGIBLE/not ineligible to get a GFL to carry anywhere in their car. You no longer have to have a license to conceal in an automobile if you are legal to own the weapon.

  2. Nikon S210 is .7 inch thick, 8 megapixel, 3X optical zoom, and can be had for $109 at Best Buy.

This camera is tough to beat for the money. It is very thin and is perfect for pocket or purse. Picture quality is very good and it is simple to use.

  3. I would like to know the same thing, because sometimes I just want to carry a small camera. My dilema is that I want a lithium battery and not AA's that you have to replace every 24 pictures.

    What about lithium AA batteries?

  4. Well I can tell you this, and believe me I have no love for UGA, but this site is not neutral. It is just like Florida having a home game every year. Just play the games like all the rest and it will be much better for all you Dawg fans.

    well put

I despise UGAy, but I will tell you that Jacksonville is NOT neutral. Valdosta or Macon might be a little more neutral.

  5. Dude, you're cracked!!! I think that the law is on this guy's side, above and beyond the HOA.

The law says that reasonable restrictions are OK. There is a reasonable solution to flying his flag. He is just choosing to thumb his nose it.

I have lived in a subdivision with no HOA. Within the first two years of moving in, the place starting looking like crap. No grass in the yards, broken down cars, 4 foot high weeds, etc. I sold and moved to a HOA community. I choose to live somewhere that provides some amenities and has some rules in place to keep my home values up. If I was able to move on to some acreage, it would be a different story.

  6. Bear Grylls is a tool. That guy does too much stuff that would get you killed in the wild. He also does not actually do the survival bits that he films. He travels with a camera crew and sleeps in a comfy hotel at night. After I saw him squeezing poop to drink the water out of it, I quit watching. E-coli would kill you in a hurry.

Les Stroud, Survivorman, actually puts himself into the wild for a week and films everything himself. He doesn't pull near as much stupid crap like Grylls.

  7. seriously? the thread title got edited to remove the name frank.

why? cause there's someone on here who sells hot sauce and was scared that now they'd lose all their business to frank?

    seriously?

Yup. Anti-capitalist Pubby is sure stickin' it to the man!

  8. The tax is a joke. The manufacturers will be forced to raise prices to cover the costs. Plain and simple. When has ANY government project ever cost what they said that it would.

This is nothing more than an attempt to force manufacturers out of business or to force the cost of ammo so high that the average peasant cannot afford to shoot the weapons that the Constitution protects.

I love when lawmakers who know nothing about a product or industry decide to make laws to regulate those industries.
