I just hope that people have enough of common sense NOT to shoot off fireworks this year. They might be getting more than just fireworks in the sky they could end up like Utah with a fire out of control.

I understand about how you feel about delivering pizza. My son worked for a pizza place here in Yorkville and ran into several situations. Thankfully he is not there anymore. Not for those reasons though.

Considering what the child went through and there is no telling what he may deal with at home it could be for the best. Yes, there are troubled kids out there. But just let me give you my opinion on that one. Back when I was growing up mothers were home with their kids. Now both parents work to only have children come home by theirselves, get into whatever and MOST parents either don't care or are too tired to even worry about their kids. How do you come across saying it looks like it is in a subdivision? Goldmine road is NOT a subdivision! It is what use to be called Rockmart Hwy! You may need to take a trip out this way and see where this little child was walking from and to!! Directions are: Take 278 towards Rockmart then you will turn left on Goldmine!!! Go all the way to Scott's market!!!! Turn your butt around and go back until you get to Poole Elem on the left!!!!! See what situation this child was in!!!!!!!!!!!! Then IF you can YOU figure it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, maybe DFACs will get

I live in southern trace. That is totally outrageous! How could anyone do something like that to a child. There are other ways to "make a point" than something like that.

Evidentally we live on the street that this happened. I saw the SO come down around that time and he was down the street for about 30 minutes. I could never call the police on one of my kids. Mine are 24 and 21 I am not 5 ft tall and I can just look at them and they know when they have crossed the line.

THELMA JEAN HURD, 73, of Douglasville died Monday. Funeral, 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home. I know that the viewing is Tuesday from 5-9. This is a sweet, God loving lady that loved her family. God bless the family in this time.

I hope they are okay. I had a deer to hit me about 2 years ago. Its scary when that happens. It busted the windshield but didn't come through. I just was covered in deer hair (yuk!!) I totally freaked out!
