I loved the New Years Day dinner, I already can't wait until the one this next New Years! Even tho I had to work it, I enjoyed seeing everyone. Someone did suggest that Rodney do that more often than just New Years Day.........

Me and the kids were up there Friday afternoon with some friends and we alll had a blast!

To answer this question, no they are not open for Breakfast (yet) that idea has come up, so maybe soon it will be. I know Monday there will be homemade vegtable soup, vegetarian vegtable and chicken noodle soups at the Cafe and New Hope and Hiram. Sounds yummy on a cold day. When I left New Hope this afternoon, Rodney was busy chopping vegtables and starting to make those soups!

I have my 2 younger kids signed up and it will be so much fun for them! A whole lot better than waiting in line at the mall and they get to eat with Santa and get a gift! And you don't have to pay $50 for a single sheet of pictures!

OK, how have I missed this thread! My Jaylee is also in Mrs. Christy's class and it has been so bittersweet this year for us! Jaylee is my last of 3 who have attended FBK and all 3 of my kids have had Mrs. Christy and I will miss that school so much! My oldest one graduated in the old church before it burnt down, my middle son graduated when we still had the post office building, now Jaylee graduated in the new church! We also came up on this trying to get home and the fire was out, but the car was still smoking and in the ditch. I could not tell what other vehicles were involved, could not see around the firetrucks. People are always flying up this road!

She had not heard yet for sure about the arrangments but thought the funeral was going to be Wed. with only one visitation time, but was not 100% on that or where it will be at. I just heard about this about 30 minutes ago. Another friend from HS called and told me, so sad. We partied with him in PCB after graduation and I had not seen him in years.

I know this family and no he was not serving out of the country. I believe he was either stationed in California or Oklahoma. He was recently promoted to Captain. This is very sad for this family, my heart just breaks for them.

What a small world! Imogene and my grandfather are brother/sister. It is such sad news, I could not believe it when mom called me this morning to tell me.

I just got off the phone with my mom who was telling me about Randy. My mom and Susan are cousins. May Randy rest in God's arms now.

I can not even imagine their grief. My youngest is the same age this precious boy was. Prayers are with this family.
