  1. He loves peeing on the potty. He sits forwards and holds on himself and leans over to watch. I have thought about the cheerios, but he already loves to go to the potty. He even loves to flush after huimself...after anyone else if he gets in the door with ya...and even if he just feels he needs to flush. I will check Carters and Old Navy for undies. I never thought of that!!!

  2. We have a powder room type bathroom downstairs that he uses and we dance and sing when he goes. I know it seems absurd, but we are using up more diapers that are worn out than we are getting dirty. I have heard to let them go au natural. I am just worried about my carpet and furniture.

  3. I have a question about pottty training for all those experienced parents out there. My son is and has been very interested in using the potty. He is only 18 months old, but I have tried to let him take the lead. My question is what is the best way to help him. He comes to me when he needs to pee in the potty 9 times out of 10. He has only pooped in the potty 3 times. This is my first little one and any advice would be greatly appreciated. Might I add he wears a 9 month shorts and I have looked for training pants and the gerber underwear. Nothing seems to be small enough.

  4. After cleaning out my attic for the yard sale this Friday and Saturday I came across at least 20 pieces of framed art. Some are paintings of the minutemen. I would keep them for my classroom but that it taught in older grades.

  5. I need someone to answer a question for me about a very old peice of art. It is a Rembrandt (reproduction I am sure) and I am wondering if they are worth anything? I found this in a corner of my attic and it is very old and quite large.

  6. You go girl!! Mark is taking me on a suprise date tonight. I'll let ya know how it turns out. A cheap sweet date for me is to go out ot Kennesaw Mountain with a picnic and watch the stars and chat. Talking about a whole lot of nothing is always nice. It gets hectic when you are always talking about the kids and work and all that!

  7. I am a mother of one looking for summer work. I work at an elem. school and have passed all state certification test and will graduate in the fall with a degree in early childhood education. I have plenty of experience and references. This is not to hijack this post, but to bump up for those in need of summer work.

  9. When I was pregnant the Dr. told me to eat fresh veggies or if you must have those in a can rinse them THROUGHLY in cold water. I saw that in caps because it takes a bit of rinsing to get them "clean". My swelling decreased a great bit when I rinsed everything in a can and ate fresh food. Snack on fresh fruit or veggies and grill like crazy. If you can't seem to find the right seasoning try grilling with wood chips. I love mesquite wood chips it makes a huge difference in the flavor of the food. Also, take the sakt shaker out of your mind. Do not allow yourself to eat salt and the bland flavor will fade. You will get used to not having the salty taste. H2O H2O!!!!!!

  10. I was in need of major help last night for a college project. Iluvmygeek came to my rescue and so did a friend at school. I just wanted ot say thanks for being so kind to a stranger and being so willing to help!

  11. Fortified Hills Baptist Church is offering a helping hand to those families in our community in need. On Thursday nights they will be offering free food to those in need. I am posting this for a neighbor so I do not know how long this program is to last but they have had a great turn out the past couple of weeks and wanted to get the word out. Any questions please let me know and I will forward them on to her and get answers! God Bless!

  12. I know this sounds crazy, but I need someone to help me with a powerpoint for college. It needs to be interactive (meaning when you click certain places in a slide it takes you to a different slide). I am not sure how to do this, but I do have my powerpoint ready. I just need some guidance or help on how to finish it off. I need this ASAP it is due tomorrow and i have been worknig on it like mad for the weekend and I just can't get it! Please help!! Thanks in advance!

  13. I have a $25 Bella Dia Spa gift certificate that a friend gave me. I have been promising myself a pedicure, and today I had a free moment. Wait what is a free moment... Anyways, I call to make an appointment and they are closed on Sundays and Mondays. I simply do not have the time to go to Acworth or Austell for this gift. I will gladly sell this to a lucky lady for $20. I am hoping to still go and get a pedi locally. I am pretty free today and could meet up with you or I live in the New Hope Area. You can check out their website at www.belladiaspa.com Thanks in advance.

  14. I agree with the tile over anything else. I sit hot pans from the oven straight on the counter top as well as my cast iron skillets. It has taken a beaten and you would never know it. The only maint. I do is I reseal my grout every once in a blue moon. Tile leaves you with a million color choices and patterns!

  15. Does anyone have a convertible carseat for sale reasonably priced? My sister has a lil one and he has quickly outgrown his infant carrier. They are looking for one that can be used rear and forward facing for those curious as to what the convertible means. Thanks is advance!!!!
