  1. Oh trust me I am not knocking cheerleaders at all! I totally agree the wardrobe that these kids are allowed to wear is totally unacceptable!!! When I go to the mall I am just apauled(sp?) at what these kids are wearing and I see the parents with them allowing it UGH!!!! I understand that some kids will hide it from theor parents but when the parents support it....That is where you have to draw the line!!

I agree with you. I hate the clothes they where. Some of it makes the girls look slutty and the boys look slouchy. It is in my eyes poor parenting when the parent pay for clothes like that and think it is o.k. I think that is teaching a bad example. Some people my look at that as it is just clothes. But it isn't. When girls wear stop like that it makes them eye candy for boys and my be preditors out there. They could be asking for trouble. I have a 11 year old and would never let her wear stuff like that. When my 5 month old boy gets older (who knows what the style will be then) he will dress decent as well. :D

  2. The point is Mark, I don't care how much money they want to give me.... If I do NOT want to give up my land, then the government shouldn't be able to force me to do otherwise!!!!

I agree with you. If that has been your home your hole life no amount of money could replace your home and memories!!!! Those are priceless. On one should have the right to take that away from anyone. I should be the persons right to decide what is done to your home. This is suppose to be America the land of the free. YEAH RIGHT!

  3. I live between Dallas and Yorkville. I have lived her my whole life. Ghee I was even born in Paulding hospital delivered by Dr. Braly. I am 28 and remember when it was so small that people you didn't even know would wave or smile at you. We had Cole Store where you could buy ice cream out of the ice box. (I loved that store it was such an antique) I remember on Hulseytown Road you could tell by the sound of the vehicle who was driving by. Now all of our beautiful trees are being cut down and building are going up everywhere.

I know it is good for our economy, but I really miss the good old days!

    :p

  4. Lived here all of my life (won’t say how long that is but my first memories are of the New Hope plane crash in 77 I think).  I had a short six year stint in Alabama while I was in college.  That’s the only time I have lived away from Paulding and I will never leave again if I can help it.

So did you live in New Hope the time of the crash? I have a big interest in all the different stories. I was just curious.

  5. Ghee that is really scary. I also went to PCHS I graduated in 1994. We had fights but they where never that bad. They where usually stopped pretty quick. There was a gun found once but it was where someone had went deer hunting and forgot to take it out. Now we did have bomb threats, but all it was where hoaxes because the guy that did it was doing it to get out of class. It was just about everyday. The police did catch him and he went to jail. Alot has to do with kids just not being taught the right morals and not being disciplined anymore. Not all kids but most. But anyway I'm just so terrified I have two kids now one in fifth grade and one still a baby. There is no telling how bad it is going to be by the time they get to high school.
