  3. I am glad you love your suv....however.... do you find that only suv drivers do this?

    edited to say....

and i think my next one will be a sport trac, i love the current version, but i think the redesign is going to be fantastic!

Your correct I see that in smaller vehicles too. It is just more scary in the bigger vehicles.

Yeah I love mine.. The new design does look cool! I love the comfort and you still have a truck bed to load things. It also isn't to big and over whelming.

  4. I love my Ford Explorer Sport Trac. I use to have a caviler. It is very roomy and drives good even long distances. I also love that I feel safe and my children are safe to.

The thing that drives me nuts are the people that drive SUV's that are way to big for them. Because they don't know how to drive them. Exspecailly the women (not all just some) I saw a lady last week that was to busy talking on her phone and looking in the mirror to pay attention to the road. And when she got next to me wouldn't ya know it then she was on the phone and trying to get something out of the back. So how could she be driving this thing safely. Men do it to I saw a man reading his paper. Sorry I just needed to vent.

    I Love My SUV. :p

  5. What ever!!!!!!!!!

I am so tired of hearing on the news that Christ and everything that ralates to our God offends people. Love is offensive, porn is better, who needs love when you can have porn. Help thy neighbor in need. Why do that when you can shoot your neighbor to shut him up and put him out of his and your misery. God and everything about God does offend some people. The definition of offend is this: To cause displeasure, anger, resentment, or wounded feelings in. It even states one of the definitions of offend is sin, well there is no such thing as sin without God. God is everything that is good. With God you have love, caring, happiness, and something to look foward to after your life on earth is done. How does that offend people? How can any of that cause displeasure, anger, resentment, or wounded feelings? The people who are trying to remove God from everything are winning, but what are they winning? People are becoming less personal and more people are becoming rude and less caring. I guess this way is less offensive. There is no displeasurement, anger, resentfulness, or wounded feeling this way, is there? Let's see where things are going; We took God out of our school and put metal detectors for weapons in. We are taking God out of govenment and replacing him with distrust. In God we trust; I guess it's better to have people fear you than to trust you. I have been doing a lot of thinking lately and there are several things I'm going to work on changing in my life. What sparked this was listening to the news this morning. I heard them say something about changing the name of a Christmas tree to the Grand tree.  How messed up is that? Can we change some of the names of things you believe in? Christmas has been around a lot longer than you or me. It became a Holiday for those of us who believe in Christ to celebrate to birth of the son of God. If you don't believe in it than don't celebrate. Work during Christmas. Try forming a group of people who believe the way you believe and start your own holiday, but please leave our time of celebration alone and let us have ours rights to continue praising our God in the way we see fit. I can ignore the way you believe, can't you try and ignore the way I believe?

Merry Christmas to all who believe!

And for those who do not believe, I'm sorry if I wounded your feeling! Have a nice December!

Edited by Bubba because I left a very important "t" out all thoughout the post.

Amen bubba! Merry Christmas to you and to all on paulding.com.

  6. Poor TBAR this should be a fun event. That the whole family should join in and do. That is what my husband and I do. Of course I like doing it more than him. I usually put the tree up with his help and then he usually takes it down him self but I do still help put all the decorations in there boxes. It's only fair. I couldn't imagine making my husband go to the store like that. Try to take a deep breathe and realize that is not what it is all about.

Bless your heart hope it gets better for you. :p

  7. Well, not to sound too cold hearted, but we used to live in an affluent area of Cherokee Co., and people who did not live in our neighborhood, or even the surrounding neighborhoods, would come by the truck load to trick or treat.  On top of that, they would RIDE around in the back of pick-up trucks, only hoping out to get candy.  To me, that is not in the spirit of the holiday, and I don't think it's right.

Now, if you live in a really rural area, where there are few house, it's one thing to go to a more populated area, but you do have the option to participate in a local trick or treat "festival" in most areas instead of bussing into areas.  I know we buy a certain amount of candy to hand out; when it's gone, it's gone.  I'd hate to think that my neighbors are missing out because of this type of behavior.

Where I live there are no houses to go to so I will go to subdivisions closest to my home. Not to be disrespectful but so my little girl can enjoy the experiences I had when I was little. We only go to the houses with lights on. I would go to the festivals but I have a son that will be a year old on the 28th. And it is just to hard for me. I would like to thank all the wonderful kind people that do get us with smiling faces. I wonder if this lady has kids? ;)

  8. I saw him a not this past weekend but the weekend before at the walmart red light. I was getting read to pull on 278 and would ya know it he is standing there dancing and singing feel like making love out loud. Before I moved he had danced down in front of walmart where the trees are. I had to cut my radio down to here him.

I'm glad I saw him I really needed a good laugh. I don't know why they would have made him leave. It isn't like he is hurting anyone.

  9. Thank all of you so much for your thoughts, concerns, and information. :p I felt so ashamed that I couldn't find it. I couldn't beleive my eyes how much it was grown up. My grandpa use to keep it clean. Then my father. But after my grandpa died my dad got throat cancer and now his heart is pumping only 20% of blood though out his body. So he get tuckered out pretty fast. I'm going to try to get my brother and sister to help. Once we get it cleared off maybe we can start trying to solve the missing pieces of the puzzle. I will keep you posted. Hopefully I want make the house around the cemetary to upset. I got the impression that they would much rather it stayed grown up. So they wouldn't have to look at it.

  10. Yes, It is illegal to disturb a cemetary.  I don't have the specific Georgia Statute in front of me at the moment but can find for you if necessary.

Please contact the local Cemetary Preservation Commission ASAP.  It should be under their jurisdiction and will be a good point to begin.

Please let us know what you find out.

I sure will. Thank you all paulding.com. I love this website. And I love you all. Any advise or help I can get is greatly appreicated. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

  11. CRICKETT did you get my pm?

Yes Smokin I did.. Thank you so much for the info. Sorry I didn't reply to you yet. I didn't forget ya. :p Just trying to answer phone and reply to everyone at the same time. :D I will defanatly check on this. I also spoke with a friend who mentioned since there putting the airport close or on top of it maybe that is why he got rid of the tombstones and bricks around the graves. Even more for me to look into.

  12. My family has an old cemetary down the road from where I live. There is no church just the cemetary. It has been a long time since I have been there because the people that bought the property next to it ran up off. They even had to nerve to tell us to dig up a family member and move him because they bought the cemetary with the land. I went there yesterday with my sister to look at it and thing about my family who are gone. When I got there I couldn't believe my eyes all the tombstone where gone. :angry2: There where some tombstones there since the 1800's. They even push the bricks and everything away. If you didn't know the cemetary was there. You couldn't tell that is what it was. I could tell because my great uncle (god bless his soul) his grave was still rised and I accidently stepped on him. :( That is my family how could someone be so cruel to do this.

Could someone please tell me if this against the law. And what can be done?

  13. Where did you find those pictures? I've never seen those before.

:( So sad I didn't realize how bad it was. All those poor people. Yeah I know it is bad in NO but they could talk about all of those people to. I have been to Boloxi a couple of times besides the casinos there where such beautiful houses and history there. Unlike the French quarters will never be again. All gone. My heart goes out to all of those hit by Katrina.

Where did you find those pictures? I've never seen those before.
