  1. Drama much? I read the headlne and the story CC posted and guess what? Jindal didn't say that at all. But y'all just keep on believing.
  2. LOL. And that's how I say it most if the time. Po' old Misisipy
  3. CC, just so you know, I would vote for Jindal in a New York minute. I hope he runs, there's no one else I can think of that I would vote for. In fact I posted this last year about Jindal http://paulding.com/forum/topic/305616-way-to-go-bobby-jindal/?hl=%2Bbobby+%2Bjindal
  4. You really can't see that the Dems keep the people poor, living off the government (your and my tax $dollar$) in return for a vote? They do this their entire lives, they make a career of it. And they get rich, very rich. I really need to keep this quote stuck back somewhere so I can remember you said it. OMG. And I really think you're serious.
  5. I can't stand the Haverty's commercials with Emily and her damn chair and her boyfriend.
  6. When there are huge events such as a BBQ cook off it may be out in the open, but there are plenty of tents with tables and chairs for folks to sit and eat and get out of the sun for a little while.
  7. I thought the same thing. My husband mentioned it to me and I laughed and said "You really want to go to a BBQ in the middle of no where on a tarmac in 94 degrees? Have a good time" He didn't go. I don't think it was advertised enough and why in the world would you have it on a hot tarmac in 94 degrees? You wanna do the airport tarmac, do it in April or October. NOT the end of June AND advertise better. I agree about the shade, but it would make more sense...........Veterans Park. and the kids would have something to play on and there would be plenty
  8. That was my thought, if they fear them enough maybe they will try to annihilate them.
  9. Not even the Middle East is comfortable with this new kind of terrorist.................... Militant group's surge in Iraq fans regional fears BEIRUT (AP) — An al-Qaida breakaway group's seizure of territory in Iraq and Syria has sent tremors across the Middle East, jolting neighboring countries into action over fears that the Islamic militants may set their sights on them next. In Jordan, the army dispatched reinforcements to its border with Iraq last week to boost security, while in Lebanon heavily armed police busted a purported sleeper cell allegedly linked to the g
  10. Prayers for you Thad. You'll be so glad when this is over and you're walking around without that horrible bone crushing pain.
  11. Thanks I would love to be there, just let me know.
  12. I hope y'all had a great time and a good break away from home!
  13. In Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, the sun never dips below the horizon on the longest day of the year. Summer Solstice Pictures: From Stonehenge to Carhenge**Pictures here http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2014/06/140620-summer-solstice-june-culture-pictures-world/
  14. The summer solstice will occur Saturday (June 21) at 6:51 a.m. EDT (1051 GMT), marking the official start of summer. During the solstice, the sun reaches its highest point in the sky over the Northern Hemisphere, which means Saturday will be the longest day of the year for every place north of the Tropic of Cancer. After the summer solstice, daylight gets progressively shorter each day until the winter solstice in December
  15. Welcome to the longest day of the year!!!!
  16. Sorry, I thought I read somewhere there was one dropped off already. I guess what I don't understand is why was there not a follow up call from the wife making sure the baby was dropped off. I've done it before. Its what we as concerned and caring families do And I will say this, when I got my 2YO grandson to watch, I prayed that I wouldn't forget he was in the car. It had been so long since I had taken care of a 2 YO BABY that I was afraid it could happen to me. I made a routine with him to keep him vibrant and talking and singing. I can see how you could forget if it was not part o
  17. Speaking of the wife, I haven't heard any mention of her. And how do you drop off one and not the other?
  18. If I were in a situation like that, or the little black girl that died from starvation, being the grandmother and KNOWING WHAT WAS GOING ON, I would take the child. Then you can take me to court or whatever you want to do, but I would take my grandchild out of a deadly situation and deal with the consequences later. It just might have saved a life. I would deal with my child, the abuser, as well and dare him or her to come get the child.
  19. Ok, I see what you're saying. And Cmorg said don't use a studio, so this might work. Have you seen any of their work? You can PM me some names and numbers, I'll call and see if they have websites with their work. Remember Foto Girl that used to post on here? She did Jordan's shots when he was 13 and did an amazing job. Thanks!!
  20. Well, I would prefer a professional studio, but thanks anyway. Unless, of course, if this is what they do. I just know it's going to cost a lot of money, and I want some very good pictures. Have you seen their work?
  21. I remember sometime back folks discussing senior portraits and how Cady Studio (which the schools use) is not worth the money. And there were recommendations of other studios. Can you help a girl out? It's that time and I need to get my sweet grandson's pictures done. TIA
  22. Bull Shiit! I'm not even going to argue the point, it's all bull shiit. Just like the economy. Just like new building starts are down. Just like there are no jobs. Just like every thing keeps going up in price. Just like I'm paying more for insurance than ever before.
  23. Seriously! Savannah is on the river (wonderful riverboat rides with dinner) and a 15 minute drive over to Tybee will put you in the Atlantic Ocean. And it's only 4 hours away. Go!!
