  1. I think I know that lady you speak of. I had the pleasure of having my morning coffee with her this morning and she told me that she had giving a bracelet to a very sweet person last night. Yes she makes all of her jewels with her one hand and teeth and she has been a great inspirational to me as well in my life. I happen to own a few for myself. I also know she is a big Elvis fan and she loves to come to our Jeff Brewer Tribute shows whenever she can.

I dont even have the words to tell you how much this lady has so touched my life. I just wished everyone had the chance to sit down and get to know her.........Could this be the lady you speak of?

  3. Is it the same "Elvis" that used to seel furniture at the Acworth Flea Market?

The Jeff Brewer Show/ Tribute to Elvis is not the same person you seen in Actworth........

    Check out his web site......www.americanelvis.com

    Thanks

Yes, that's him! My baby girl loved him...she was dancing and having a great time!

Glad you enjoyed the show..........I am the one who manages the Souvenirs table...........

Is he the same "Jeff" "Elvis" that was in the Dallas Parade, for the other site??

    Yes............. :D that is him.............. :D :D

  4. I would like to say that one of the things I said here earlier was questionably over the line and was based expressly on emotion.

I have no problem with Lesie or anyone else, for that matter winning this or any other game on pcom. My outburst was based solely on the crap (no pun intended) I saw and read in the battles forum. The pic was bad enough, but the refence to a good friend of mine just blew me over the damned edge. I have been on some pretty unsavory boards in my past, when I was a real hell-raiser, and never clicked into something as bad as what I saw, right here, on our "community" site.

It made my want to puke, and it made me want physically pummel the person who said it.

I for one just found out about this...............give me a minute to pull myself back together..........I am still upset over one of my friends being buried today............just give me a minute to get over all this.....and I will make my last and final comment on what p.com does for me..............

  5. I don't know if it was a Nissan truck or a trooper, just that someone ran a red light. I found out today it happened around 10 pm at the intersection of 278 and 61 (there at the QT). Her family said that they were told that it wasn't her fault and that she couldn't have done anything different.

Please continue to pray for the "boys" in her group at Inner Harbour. They are struggling to deal with this. Today some of them made cards for the family and talked about her as such a mother figure to them. She really impacted them. Some of these boys are so disconnected emotionally from most of the world because of their histories that for them to be able to express how they are hurting right now is a true testimony to her impact on them.

I'll be attending the funeral tomorrow morning.

Was anyone in that area on Monday night? It's going to be very difficult going through there for a while.

Thanks so much for the information....Yes Kathy is going to be missed......She was a very sweet lady and always wanted to jump in and help......no matter what..... I told both of my children last night about the accident and both said the very same words......."you talking about that sweet lady that answered the phone at your old job".....and I said yeah.......they both really hated it so much that this has happened....I know she had to be an awesome person for the boys at Inner Harbour.....cause she was for Naylor......God bless her family.........

I didn't hear about the accident on the scanner but I did hear that it was a Nissan truck that ran the red light but was driven by a State Trooper........but there again.......I couldnt find any news on it either....

  6. Does anyone have any information regarding a fatality accident last night (Monday). I don't know what time, but I heard something about someone running a red light. Possibly on 278?

The lady that died was a coworker of mine. She was a counselor at Inner Harbour in Rockmart. She was a very compassionate individual with a lot of enthusiasm for life. We found out first thing this morning when we arrived to work (she was scheduled to be there at 7 am and didn't show). The boys she works with have a lot of psychiatric disorders and have suffered a lot of losses this year. Today has been extremely difficult on them. The boys and her family need your prayers. Kathy leaves behind a 14 year old son and an elderly father she was caring for.

I know this lady you speak of...........I use to work with her at Naylor or better known as Webco Printing..

I worked with her for almost 5 years..............

Just wondering if you found out any more information........
