    Our country was founded on "one nation under GOD" our money has "in God we trust" printed clearly. This is America and there is freedom of speech.

     

    You have the freedom not to participate. It is not a meeting but simply a few moments to acknowledge the beliefs our COUNTRY was founded upon. No one makes you close your eyes or say anything but is it too much to ask to just be silent and think of whatever you choose for a moment or two.

     

    Give your moments to think of our soldiers if you have no spiritual beliefs. What is the harm?

     

    It was fine for 200 years in our nation and things seemed much better then.

    You know what, those of us that know the folks that campaign and I include everyone regardless of their politics know how the spouses suffer through it when things are said about there loved ones.

     

    I know that feeling to well....not real sure what happen or who did what to who.....but my first thought was "sumpin must of happen".... My only wish is to get Paulding back on her feet again and do what's right......find a leader that we all can trust and have faith in....and move on to a better future in Paulding...That's my wish...

    My heart went out to Laura Curruth that stood up for her husband.

    It seemed that all the ladies came up and spoke nicely to her.

     

    Yes indeed.....My heart went out to her as well...but when she finished her speech and was finding her way back to her seat....If "looks" could kill...Mr Bill Heath would have been a dead man this morning.....I thought OMG...I saw FIRE coming from her eyes....I was almost ready to hit the exit door......but it's all good....and I thought JK Rodgers was awesome as always..Thanks to everyone that came out this morning...It truly was a pleasure to meet new people and see ole faces...Thanks again....I enjoyed it.

    Sorry I didn't mean to make that personal towards you, anyone watching the video can see that when Tommy opened his mouth and took in a breath to say the next sentence the video was cut. I am sure the perspective was changed by the following remarks that were cut, or there would have been no need to cut there.

     

    No problem....I didn't take it personal toward me.....I just didn't want to be misunderstood... :drinks: I was talking about the mouth open part before the breath taking part.......LOL

    I have to say the person editing the video had to the choice to cut that video exactly where they did.

    He is our commissioner the effort to embarrass him in that way did not impress me one single bit.

     

    This is not the first time I have seen some folks trying to embarrass Tommy Graham.

    Obviously some folks have something against him.

     

    Either he has done something blatantly wrong to cause this or everything he does is considered wrong by some.

     

    I certainly didn't make that statement to embarrass Tommy or to point him out.....The man does that alot....must be a "tick" he has.....but....I really truly hope and pray that this works out for all of our sake........

    I hope it goes well with Paulding plans....and hope it create jobs right now....cause right now....we are in need of a right now decision......but if it fails.....I suppose we all are gonna be standing there like Tommy Graham with our mouth open wide with no words coming out......

  22. Judge tells Paulding county to pay $265,113.68 instantly

    They are going to get some sort of continuance on the Judgement.

     

    Don't have all the details yet, but they apparently are going to keep on paying the Holland & Knight lawyers to stall, stall, stall.

     

    And in the meantime, we die by trying to hang on.

     

    So, they end up beating us purely by bleeding us to death. Which is exactly what the Anti-Slapp Statute says they CANNOT DO.

     

    But what else can we do ?

     

    The Judge has issued his ruling that they have indeed violated the Anti-Slapp Statute.

     

    The Judge has issued a ruling giving us a Judgement for $265,000+ in attorney's fees.

     

    We have no way to enforce the law to make them pay the Judgement, although I know well and good if the tables were turned they would indeed be attaching my bank accounts, what little they have left in them.

     

    And now they get more time and in the interim we die by suffocation......

     

    Just does not seem right, but I guess this is our Judicial System working at its finest.

     

    So we win the battles.....and lose the war by attrition. They literally stave us to death while we await our day in court.

     

    Is our system broken ? You tell me.

     

    I thought that both parties had to be in agreement before the judge could grant this.....and also I thought that it had to be ask before a judgement was called.....looks like their still wasting time and money......
