  1. It was a very awesome concert. :)

    I think he has gotten cuter since the last time I saw him in the hallways of PCHS

    I'm glad I got to go. Little disappointed that more people didn't show up and that he didn't have a sold out show.

    When will Paulding County come out by the tons and suport their howntown talent in the masses and represent???????

    Most people I know had to work and then didn't want the commute back out of Paulding.

    We need a place here within the county to hold such events.

    Come on people can you say Civic Center or something I mean gosh Cedartown has better places to go then we do and they are touching Alabama!!!!!!!

     

     

    Congrats JAYRON!!!!!!! We'll be voting for you on Tuesday night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. I hear ya dancemama.

    All the praise should go to the assistant driector and the cast for such an awesome show. I just directed lol!!!!

    At first I wasn't sure if the stage was going to look like I hoped but man it did turn out great didn't it. I'm sad that this show is over but I have to move on to another. I'm very very interested in getting the people of Paulding out to these wonderful performances.

    Why isn't there an interest???? I'm not sure so I'll have to figuire out the promotional side of it all and reel them in huh LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. I plan on getting up to Carl Black later today to get my tickets.

    My husband,two children,his brother plus a few friends are coming out to support our home town talent.So maybe 15 of us all together.

     

    I'll do whatever you need ASAP to get the word out.

    I'm a professional marketer/promotions person and I'll stand out at Carl Black with a sign dressed like a chicken if it will help sell tickets.Let me know what I can do for you guys:)

  4. And don't forget to come out to Paulding Community Theatre's benefit show on Friday the 8th or Saturday the 9th 7pm at Chattahoochee Tech. College to watch "Crimes Of The Heart" all proceeds are going to the two battered women's shelters in the county.

    Also we are having alot of drawings for FREE stuff too just for coming you get a chance to win some mighty fine things.

    We will have a special VIP P.com Area reserved for all you p.commers who want to come on out and support a great cause and catch a awesome show.

    Dallas, GA -

     

    "Crimes of the Heart" hits the stage April 8th and 9th at Chattahoochee Technical College (Paulding) to benefit the Shepherd's Rest Ministries and the Battered Women's Shelter.

    Paulding Community Theatre will present Beth Henley's Pulitzer Prize winning play at 7pm.

    Tickets are $10 and all proceeds go to these two well deserving organizations.

     

    The mission of Shepherd's Rest Ministries, Inc. is to aid victims of domestic violence in breaking the cycle of violence by encouraging growth and responsibility and to help clients realize their personal worth and power to change the pattern of abuse.

     

    'Crimes of the Heart' tells the story of three Magrath Sisters; Lenny, Meg and Babe who each come face to face with their troubles. This Southern comedy also embraces the drama of Lenny becoming a lonely old maid, Meg facing her failed singing career out West and Babe shooting her husband in the stomach. Their crazy cousin drives them to the brink and a young lawyer tries his best to keep babe out of jail.

     

    Kicking off the Paulding County Theatre season the cast includes:

     

    Julie Guy (Director) is making her directing debut with PCT with this production. She has been in Several PCT productions and has also done films, commercials, and promotions in Atlanta.www.julie-guy.com

     

    Mike Moore (Associate Director, Stage Manager) is also making his directing and stage- managing debut. He ís a 17 year electrician and he also does modeling and nature photography.

     

    Amy Moore (Lenny) has been a hair-stylist and make-up artist for 22 yrs. She owns Amy's Hair and Tanning (255 Scoggins Rd. Dallas, Ga. 30157)

     

    Aleeya Karen (Meg) is one of the founding members of the Paulding Community Theatre. Sheís worked in theatre, film and industrial projects, screenwriting, and even stand-up comedy.

     

    Kester McRee (Babe) works in film, TV, commercial, theater and print (www.kesterportfolio.com). She also owns a children and corporate entertainment company (www.dreamfriendsforkids.com).

     

    Peg Estes (Chick) has been in various community musicals. She also works as an administrative assistant with a local church, and serves as a volunteer mentor to young women.

     

    Curtis Carlin (Doc) grew up in front of the camera and then behind the camera for the past 15 years. He ís looking forward to being a part of PCT's continued growth (www.curtiscarlin.com).

     

    Mason Rountree (Barnette Lloyd) is an attorney in Dallas,owns Rountree Law firm with his wife,Ana.He has served as Chief Judge of the city of Dallas,and was the law clerk for the Superior Court of Judges in Paulding County.Mason lives on a horse farm with his wife,three daughters Marcela,Mattie, and Camila and his newborn son Mason Rountree 3. His acting debut in "Crimes of the Heart" as attorney (Barnette) is both coincidental and ironic.
