  1. I'm not the owner nor the manager, but I do work very closely with the manager on a daily basis. I know it's tough out there right now and we need a "good" driver! pass it along to anyone you know who has a cdl/hazmat. Aalso, if you are a local business and need any Waste Management needs (haz waste, non-haz waste, bulbs, ballasts, batteries, etc) let me know, I'd be glad to help out! thanks, Jason
  2. Hey, there is a position open right now for the company I work for...it's a good gig and pays pretty well. If you have a Class B CDL WITH HAZMAT Endorsement and are looking, it's a great company with excellent benefits and pretty good pay. Here's a link to the posting, however I will happily turn a resume' in directly to the hiring manager. https://www.appone.com/MainInfoReq.asp?R_ID...earchScreenID=3 PM me if you have questions about what the position requires and entails. Thanks, Jason
  3. My mom was murdered 4 years ago. It was 3 days after my son was born so it is hard not to think about it every time my sons birthday rolls around. I try not to dwell on it because I know that it doesn't do anyone any good but some years are harder than others. My grandmother has had a really hard time with it because she says you should never outlive one of your children. Whenever it is mom's birthday or death day I just call her and if she wants to talk about it we do, if not I just let it be. There is a lot of anger to deal with when someone is taken away from you the way my mom was so that
  4. We were actually approved by Wells Fargo for the short sale today. It took about 2 months. We had a very good Realtor and the bank was very good about getting it done because we have another mortgage with them and we have never missed a payment on either house. We also tried to sell the house for 18 months and they knew there was nothing more we could do. I was just curious what kind of effect it would have on our credit. We did get in writing that there would be no deficiency judgment against us. I just hope we did the right thing and never have to go through this again. Thanks for your infor
  5. Hi, this is Clancy's Husband, wanted to give some input on the subject and say hello. The major difference with the short sale versus foreclosure is that you keep control over what's going on and what the home sales for. That being the case, the bank "writes off" the balance of the mortgage that was unpaid and does not pursue the seller for the balance. Yes, it does crash your credit, however, we have REALLY good credit as is, good enough that a 100 point hit will not hurt too bad. We'll still be above average on our score actually, not that we intend to use it. A foreclosure mea
  6. I couldn't rent it for what I needed to pay the mortgage and I really don't have time to be a property manager with 5 kids!
  7. So we decided to build a new home in Yorkville before the housing market went bust and our house in Hiram sat on the market for 18+ months. We were just approved for the short sale and I was wondering if anyone has ever been through this before. How bad did it effect your credit and for how long? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks
  8. WOW! Thanks everyone..... These are some great ideas. I was also thinking about using some red wrapping paper and make a "red carpet" leading up the walkway. The invitations look like concert tickets. They are too cute. Keep the ideas coming. Clancy
  9. My daughter turns 9 next month and we are having a rockstar birthday party for her. Looking for any ideas you may have to make this an unforgettable birthday party! Thanks in advance........
  10. I LOVE House. Good thing I have DVR so I can watch it after the kids go to bed.
  11. Our last name is Stanley. I will ask my DH is Trott rings a bell. We were there from 2000 till 2004.
  12. Yeah he got out about 5 years ago. I didn't like J'ville either. What years was he there? You never know they might have known each other. My husband was with MALS 26. He worked on helicopter hydraulics and then went to HAZMAT. His brother was stationed at Cherry Point his entire enlistment.
  13. Thanks for the warm welcome everybody.
  14. I think you have a valid point!
  15. How old are your kids? Where was he stationed? I don't know what it is about these Marines and having a bunch kids......
  16. Congrats on the pregnancy. I have 4 boys ages 5 months, 2 years, 4 years, 6 years and an 8 year old girl. I think we will try again for one more girl but will probably end up with 5 boys......
  17. We were in Jacksonville North Carolina at New River Air Station. I am from Northeast La. The Monroe area.
  18. Some days are harder than others but I wouldn't have it any other way. They are the reason I wake up everyday with a smile on my face.
  19. I want to start of by saying that I have really enjoyed PCOM. I first got on here during all the flooding to keep up with the local news and after a couple of weeks I decided to join in. It seems that there are so many nice people here in Paulding county and I wanted to be a part of this "internet family." I am a stay-at-home mom of 5 so even though I have lived here for 4 years I haven't had a chance to meet too many friends. I am originally from Louisiana by way of North Carolina(my husband was a Marine and we were stationed there for 5 years) and I have to say that Georgia has by far been
  20. I kind of thought this would come out sooner or later. I think they are too quick to push vaccines these days. The same thing can be said about the H1N1 vaccine. I was diagnosed with cancerous cells on my cervix at 18 and I think the most important thing is early detection.
